This is simply not true. Calzaghe is known for fighting the big names on his resume out of their prime, an arguable loss to an old Hopkins, ducking Glen Johnson, and having some of the most questionable stoppages that I have ever seen in my life.
America is a melting pot. Most people that are racist aren't boxing fans. Fans just want to be entertained, we are not nationalistic. Many of my favorite fighters are Filipino (Donaire, Pacquiao), British (Khan, Hamed), Mexican, etc...
