and no, i picked him to win(after going back and forth on who would win, ends up being a draw), but in my card he did win, 1,2,3,5 and 8, you could argue the 12th for pascal too

If I can argue the 12th for Pascal V Hopkins, how gassed was pascal? More likely to me that Pascal was making a last ditched effort.

Even that Froch fight was weird. As soon as Froch got behind the jab it looked fairly comfortable.

Pascal reminds me of David Haye in style but with less power, less stamina.

No, but I think thats coz he's not a pure puncher, he's a boxerpuncher. He has scored some pure knockouts, with one punch too tho, so he def has power. But he relies also on his movement and speed, not just power.

Pascal's musclemass slows him down and weakens his stamina. Just like with Frank Bruno, if he doesnt succee in koing his opponent early enuff, he gasses.

Another thing I find puzzling is that Hopkins clearly gassed vs Calzaghe. He needed to take breaks any which way he could. Doing those fake ball shots and ending up on all fours, with Cal doing that simulated sodomy.

How is it some what 3 years later, at an even more advanced age, he showed great stamina over 12 rounds?

Perhaps this also explains Pascal's actions.

When BHop started chasing him, maybe Pascal assumed that BHop had to soon gas out, and then he (Pascal) would finish him off. Obviously backfired as BHop never gassed. Seems odd given how he did some 3 yrs earlier.

After round 4, Pascal waited for the end of each round to actually start throwing, so I got the impression that he was waiting for the old man to tire, simply. Which was a DUMB thing to do. Hope he has devised a better strategy this time.

He wobbled Hopkins at the very end of the fight tho, I wonder am I the only one who saw this?

because he takes rounds off, that's the main thing here, he gasses(not too much, but saves up), takes a good 3-4 rounds off and fights back in spurts

as for making a prediction, i dont wanna set anything in stone yet, but im almost positive pascal will win this rematch via stoppage

he took rounds off vs bhop or bhop shut him out? winning one round after the third (arguably 2 more) doesn't sound like taking rounds off to me, that sounds more like getting shut down
