How did Mayweather duck Cotto when Cotto was practically brand new at WW when Floyd left the game?

Cotto didn't have a notable win at jr WW or WW until he fought Shane Mosley, and even that win highly debatable. After that win he got DESTROYED by Margarito. Who did Cotto win a title from to lose it to Pacquiao? Michael Jennings.

Floyd didn't duck that dude. Cotto hadn't done anything, just like Margarito and Paul Williams hadn't done anything at that point. Don't try to make those guys more significant in 2007 than they were.

They didn't have one notable win between the three of them.

I boxed for 2 years in college and about 10 months ago while I lived in the UK..unfortunately getting down to 147 or 154 is no longer within my current lifestyle haha...181 on the scale at the gym yesterday, but at least I don't look like a corpse any more haha

I am not saying Margo will beat him but I DO believe he'll trouble him, even at this stage. The most likely outcome is a Floyd wide UD, but Margo has attributes that are wrong for Floyd; a pressure fighter with a epic chin and stamina. They're the hallmarks of the trouble Castillo gave him.
