so what are you saying?.....................joe calzaghe is a better fighter

      i agree
Roy Jones went undefeated for longer than Calzaghe's career. His first loss[real loss] came in his 49th pro fight. Calzaghe retired after his 46th pro fight. And before that, he should have had at least a Draw with Hopkins, which would have made him 46-0-1. Jones never had a draw with anyone, he was either better than you or he was shot and that's why you beat him. That's how Calzaghe beat him, because Jones was shot. And Calzaghe at 36, was not shot yet, he was still fresh. Marquez is 37, beating guys 10 years younger than him, so age does not matter.

Calzaghe fought Jones, when Jones was a "legend", 52-4 and already had done everything he was gonna do in boxing.

Won Fighter of The Decade in the 90s, went from Jr Middleweight to Heavyweight, easily collecting titles in 4 weight classes against champions, no major vacant titles, except for his fight with Hopkins for the MW IBF which is okay if you're gonna fight for a vacant title against actual fair competition, no asking for catchweights when he wanted to go up in weight against bigger guys, not even at Heavyweight did he ask for a catchweight[instead he came in light, and didn't care how heavy Ruiz wanted to come in], just putting ass whoopings to any top 10 fighter in the respective weight limits. That's a REAL fighter of the decade.

joe calzaghe never had a draw with anyone, he was the best in the era
roy jones fought joe calzaghe when calzaghe was a "legend 45-0 and already had done everything he was gonna do in boxing.

roy jones was easily collecting titles in 4 weight classes because he never fought the best the two elite fighters in the middleweight division at the time was Julian Jackson and Gerald McClellan

A list of the elite fighters at 168 that roy jones was Ducking when he was in that division
        Graciano Rocchigiani
Steve Collins 2 weight champion at the time
Nigel Benn 2 weight champion at the time
chris eubank 2 weight champion at the time
        Charles Brewer
        Frankie Liles
        Robin Reid

BEST at 175 was Dariusz Michalczewsk
roy jones won the vacant wbc title vacanted by Fabrice Tiozzo.
Fabrice Tiozzo lost his wba title to Virgil Hill then came back and beat Mike McCallum for the WBC light heavyweight title.

Dariusz Michalczewski beat Virgil Hill for the undisputed light heavyweight championship Michalczewski had the wbo,wba and ibf and never lost it in the ring.
Michalczewski has the record for the most consecutive successful title defenses at light heavyweight 23 defenses. He was champ for 9 years an had a incredible 48 and 0 winning run

why did jones fight ruiz instead of lennox lewis?..........

lennox lewis was the heavyweight champion of the world

Pretty much everything you said about Johnson is bull****. There's a reason he has 14 losses and is called "The Road Warrior". It's because he fights guys in their back yard and usually gets robbed of a decision. Contrast that to Joe who never left the UK until Hopkins and Jones were approaching senior citizen status.

I like Joe, but I have much more respect for Glen because he'll fight anyone, anywhere despite all the robberies he's had to endure. To disrespect and try to denigrade Glen and his career simply because people say your favorite fighter ducked him is ludicrous.

Jim Lampley said Joe Calzaghe blatantly ducked Glen Johnson on a number of occasions, and with good reason. Johnson is the type fighter that no one
                      want to fight.

Glen Johnson 14 loses everybody was beating johnson before he pop up on your hbo screen and knockout that over hyped HBO fighter jones jr

Glen Johnson cant punch who has he knockout?..jones and ?...nobody

Glen Johnson hasn't got any boxing skills

Glen Johnson was not a mandatory challenger

Glen Johnson was not a top contender

Glen Johnson hasn't got any championship experience

so why would a man of joe calzaghe legend duck a bum like Glen Johnson

all Glen Johnson was, was a hand picked opponent he wouldn't look good on calzaghe resume anyway it would make calzaghe look like a bully picking a cherry with 14 loses what was roy jones thinking

Glen Johnson fought at middleweight and had no success

Glen Johnson fought at super middleweight lost to Omar Sheika and had no success after that

Glen Johnson fought at light heavyweight and was successful for 1 year beating HBO hype job Tarver and jones after that he had no success

so how did calzaghe duck Glen Johnson?...
Because everybody knows he's a fraud with the ultimate padded record. If it looks like s.h.i.t and smells like s.h.i.t you don't need a brain surgeon to tell you what it is.
