Jones first loss was at 35 years old and he was already 5-6 years past prime by that time. He just finally became shot at 35 years old.

The Jones from 1993-1999 beats any fighter Pound 4 Pound.

Who was that Jones from 2000-2003? I don't know, but he was obviously not the Jones of the 90s, and was still dominating and still virtually undefeated.

Cant defend Joe C because i think he pulled out 3 or 4 times and then fought someone else because Johnson wasnt ready to wait around again.

Calzaghe was injury prone. Many of his fights including Lacy and Jones had to be rescheduled. He still ended up fighting them. He wanted to reschedule the Johnson fight but Johnson said he was "done" with Calzaghe.

Jim Lampley said Joe Calzaghe blatantly ducked Glen Johnson on a number of occasions, and with good reason. Johnson is the type fighter that no one
          want to fight.

Glen Johnson 14 loses everybody was beating johnson before he pop up on your hbo screen and knockout that over hyped HBO fighter jones jr

Glen Johnson cant punch who has he knockout?..jones and ?...nobody

Glen Johnson hasn't got any boxing skills

Glen Johnson was not a mandatory challenger

Glen Johnson was not a top contender

Glen Johnson hasn't got any championship experience

so why would a man of joe calzaghe legend duck a bum like Glen Johnson

all Glen Johnson was, was a hand picked opponent he wouldn't look good on calzaghe resume anyway it would make calzaghe look like a bully picking a cherry with 14 loses what was roy jones thinking

Glen Johnson fought at middleweight and had no success

Glen Johnson fought at super middleweight lost to Omar Sheika and had no success after that

Glen Johnson fought at light heavyweight and was successful for 1 year beating HBO hype job Tarver and jones after that he had no success

so how did calzaghe duck Glen Johnson?...
Every thread you make is some bullshavic about Joe Calzaghe, and every time your dead wrong. Aren't you sick of being proved wrong every time? You really should get your facts straight before you try to argue that your boyfriend is any good Your giving Calzaghe fans a bad name! Dude is a nobody, deal with it!!!

Lol the age you become out of your prime or shot varies with each boxer, While Jones fought everyone his entire.career, Calzaghe is a known ducker and fighter, instead of fighting an old Jones and Hopkins, he could had fought Johnson, Dawson, Froch, pavlik, pascal, all prime fighters. but he chose not to, in 2003 he said Jones Jr was too good and he would never fight him. Calzaghe has very good boxing skills but never tested himself. Btw he lost to Hopkins.
