Nothing to suggest he has a great chin, he has a good chin though.

at 130-135 his chin was excellent, he use to walk through shots, and in fact at the start of his career some said he wasn't defensive enough. At 140+ his chin is pretty damn good but he can be hurt, his powers of recovery and his general temperament under pressure is excellent.

He has a very good chin. He has shown at every weight he has fought at that he can take a punch well and has only been badly hurt on very few occasions in his career.

When he is badly hurt, he deals with it incredibely well.

He has a very good chin, not great. But definitely very good.

How about not being on the floor at any point due to a punch?

Its really unfair to judge Floyd's chin as anything other than great. He's been rocked and never down. If you look at some of recent history's great chins you think of Holyfield, Chavez, Cobb, and guys like that. These are guys that get hit and we expect to get hit. It would be nuts for a guy who has taken the least punishment of probably anyone in history, to test his own chin. Most shots he was hit with he didnt see and that says a lot looking at the fact he's never had the start of a 10 count nor standing 8. The general thought is that Floyd did a lot of running which is not the case. If one person can show me two fights when he ran for 12 then I got a donation for you. But all in all he's taken good shots very well and the greatest beards in history (or what we consier the greatest chins) got hit too much and for a fighter like Mayweather it would take a lot closer look to get a true feel for how good his chin is.

Chin is good...not great but good. Its his composure after he gets hit which is excellent.

I find that impressive. I know some may say this is due to his defence which is mostly true, but he has taken some punchers thought out his career.
I think Judah knocked him down legit but they never counted it....

Chin was good, but not great... then again, he doesn't get hit either lol so we won't be able to really tell until then i guess....

I guess so. He has been tested but not alot. Corley wobbled him and he's not that big puncher...dunno. Still, he took Mosley's best shots. I think had he met Valero, it would be a different story.

the dude is made out of iron. sure he seemingly gets wobbled after every clean punch and goes into the fetal position but i'm pretty sure everyone with a great chin does that.
