He's not bad for boxing and neither is Floyd mind you. But, he's also not helping the sport either at all at the moment.

Selling PPV buys doesn't necessary helps the sport. It just helps his bank account.

I would like for him to step up and go back to the type of run in 08-09 or if not just retire.

just stepped into a Champs Sports the other day, Pac's stuff was everywhere, hats, shoes, Pacquiao shirts. That **** was selling too. That guy is popular.

Floyd is popular, but not in that way where people would buy his stuff. No wonder why he doesnt have merchandise out, Floyd himself knows it wouldnt sell.

You can do a little experiment to get the answer.

On Saturday night, 8PM Eastern time (AKA primetime), tune into CBS (aka America's biggest network).

        Then get back to us.

P.S. ABC tonight and 60 minutes on Sunday (CBS again) might sway you one way or another, we'll see though.

Anybody you ask on the street could list several active baseball players, football players, basketball players...but if you asked them who is Manny Pacquiao or who is Floyd Mayweather Jr, probably 7 out of 10 people would have no clue and the other 3 out of 10 would know who both are...I don't know where this idea that Pacquiao is this huge superstar in America came from, but it just isn't the case.
I disagree people know who Pac and Floyd are. And, Pac may not be Brad Pitt type of superstar. But, he's known here in America.

It doesn't matter at all though cuz' being known or not doesn't mean a damn thing for the sport.

Floyd does have clothing merchandise. But, not in any retail store, I think you have to go to his website or something to buy them. And, I don't think the sales are good either.

Nope, but the sport would just praise someone else if he retired.

I'm not saying he is an unknown...I just can't see how people think Manny Pacquiao is some huge superstar in America...that is like saying Landon Donovan is a superstar in America. Plenty of people know who he is sure, but nobody really cares.

I think Pac is a bigger star in America than Donovan is. But, that's neither here nor there.

Anyways you said that 7 out of 10 people wouldn't know who Pac nor Floyd are. Pretty much making them unknown. I think 9 our 10 people would know who one ore the other is. And, since both is somewhat link I would think they would know who both are.

haha I'm totally gonna make a youtube and ask around and see what results I get...Milwaukee is very racially segregated as far as populations go...I will go to a mall in the suburbs and ask some white peoples, go to a mall downtown and ask some black peoples and then go to the southside and ask some mexican peoples

I'm actually really curious about this now...I will post on here after I do it OFC
