    Is Pacquiao bad for boxing?

Since it is said that Pacquiao cherry picks opponents, weight drains them, fights past their prime fighters, is on PEDs, picks up meaningless titles, is a farce. So the question has to be asked, "Is Pacquiao bad for boxing?" Meaning if there was not a Manny Pacquiao, would the sport be better overall.

if there's no pacquiao in boxing, you'd still think it over again.

instead, include all those who are annoying boxing fans: mayweather, klits, haye, cheato etc.

all we'd have is the super six, but even then you got boring bastards like ward and alot of controversy, you'd just have mayweather and wlad putting the world to sleep

A billion Asian kids(Indonesian, Filipino, Thai, S. Korean, Japanese, etc) now want to be like Manny. From this enormous talent pool the next generation(until forever) of Asian fighters will take many titles and badly needed $$ from impoverished Latino fighters.

yeah but I imagine now those places will explode with fraudulent boxing "gyms" much like the USA saw with martial arts in the 80s and with MMA in the TUF era

What are you 12? Pac has provided all the entertainment for the sport. the man dislkes Noone, talks bad about noone. Isnt arrogant like alot of boxers are. Has been moving up in weight for years. just giving good fights. He gives people something to like. What is bad for boxing tho. is people who constantly hate and gives no props where credit is due. people who start a revolt by false alligations, people who smack up women and threaten kids. people who run their mouths constantly with no good intent. Whats bad for boxing is people who go kill their wives and themselves, or when thugs kill people. whats bad for boxing is alcoholics coke user. Theres lots of things that are bad for boxing. But Pacq isnt one of them. if anything, he is a big part of keeping it above the water.

                  Yup!

He and PBF are bad examples of what boxing should, I can't wait till they both leave cause neither one is helping the sport.
