Would Floyd be more active if there were no Pac?

I can see Shane being on it, but JMM? A WW had a LW on his hitlist? Talk about bullying! LOL. Ortiz was never on his hitlist either, but I wouldnt mind seeing that scrap for Floyd's next fight. Ortiz's confidence is sky high with his last win and will make Floyd actually fight!Comment

You're basically saying that if Manny never stepped up, Floyd would've never poked that security guard, created a racist video that'll last forever, and never would have threatened his children and their mother?
Pacquiao's not only ruining boxing, but he's also ruining the lives of everyone around Mayweather.
How dare you Manny.
How dare you?

no. i think he never regretted retiring. he was content being in the audience rather than one of the people inside the ring. he enjoyed watching superfights and pac. he came out of retirement to solve his financial woes. that felt the itch especially when he saw pac beat dlh in an impressive fashion. he probably never anticipated the magnitude of the demand for this fight. whatever happened in between, i still don't think he would have been active even without pac. he's gotten too lazy. he also probably never anticipated the amount of money he got in the mosley fight. it was huge, obviously, hence the lack of need to go for the pac fight or other fights. (see the thing with floyd is no matter who he fights the fans will always follow him, whether they want to see him lose or win, fighting once a year will create enough curiosity.)Last edited by tomhawq; 04-24-2011, 10:00 PM.Comment
