A lot of that has to do with Floyd claiming he gets no love or recognition from the fans or the boxing world, while Pac is getting all the recognition and applause.

What Floyd has to understand is, if you want to play villian, you have to accept with what comes along with it. You cant play bad guy, then cry your eyes out ala the post fight Baldomir press conference.

The real question is would Pacquiao be where he is now if Mayweather didn't go into retirement and rematched DLH? I don't think he would.

Guess Floyd shouldnt have went into hibernation then. As much as I dont like Floyd the person, I would love for him to be more active and out there taking on the best possible competition. If Floyd were to never fight again, he will always have that big ? behind him.

I voted no because there ain't that many 40 year old welter wieghts. He would be ducking Cotto, Williams, Margarito. Ortiz, Clottey and many other welter wieght elites he just took the Mosley fight cause he knew Mosley can't fight without steroids.

Floyd has been inactive well before anyone even considered him fighting Pac.
