nothing wrong with ortiz showing some heart, passion and balls

nothing wrong with ortiz being fired up and ready to go to war

ya he quit during the madaina fight, but he had a broken wrist and a broken

mind, he is a new person

    today, he is a warrior

nothing wrong with him wanting a rematch and wanting to smash in

    madainas face

would you guys rather him look for a way out of a rematch or be calling

    madaina out like a *****?

i like this version of ortiz he sounds like a FIGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Just an athletic fighter overpaid and overhyped by HBO's spin machine.

If Ortiz was so confident he'd beat Maidana again he wouldn't be talking like this. He deserves a good fight sometime in the near future, but I honestly still don't think he is all that.

Ortiz is considered the best fighter outside of Pac, Floyd and Shane right now which goes to show how weak the division is now. I wouldn't mind seeing a Jones-Ortiz fight but we know the whole story there between GBP and TR.
Ortiz has " totally redeemed himself ".

There is absolutely no question about that.

You do not " fluke " a gutsy performance like that, especially when your redeeming features were your largest criticism.

Vic has turned the corner, and is much better at 147.

man the maidana fight is what it is - ortiz was getting beat up and his eye swole shut, and he was going to be stopped anyway. the fight was over - maidana beat him down - it is what it is. ortiz wasn't no quitting punk, he just LOST! if ortiz and maidana fought 100 times, ortiz would win 75 of them.

if a rematch does happen i see ortiz stopping maidana in 4-5 rds. keep in mind ortiz will try to ko him early in the fight wich he can but i know maidana can take punishment thats why i say 4-5 rds ortiz attacks maidanas body then head and its over............

ortiz needs to do a little more fighting and a little less talking. i'm a fan of his, but one good fight doesn't take you to the top....keep at it, and prove them all wrong even more than you have...as for the maidana fight, he and everyone else should leave it in the past...until maidana decides to go up to 147, then it's something that we won't see.

so he says about the guy

who beat him the fu.ck up and made him quit....
and he wasnt ever a fan of Morales? what a fuc.kin loser....i'm not sayin he had to be his biggest fan but this kid is talkin ridiculous.
the kid is talented, but he's a b level fighter who beat another b level fighter who had a belt. he should learn to slow his roll a lil bit cause talkin out his ass isnt a good look for him

another great example of a poster who has never fought and had to make

weight and deal with the detriment of it...

did u not notice a difference in endurance and especially intensity from the

                      peterson and berto fights???

ortiz's physical body being fully filled out was a good sign as well that he

was more comfortable with the weight

they are many issues when it comes to fighting ya know
