Can't fight everyone at once. Again, in his first 4 fights after Hatton, he took out all the guys that were ranked 1-4 at the time he began his campaign, with Margarito being given 3 extra lbs to work with (17 lb weight advantage in the ring, on top of height/reach mismatch), so whining about Cotto losing 1 lb is moot.

Now that's what a hit list looks like

I give props to Manny for fighting most of those names. Funny how May doesn't get much credit for beating the top of the list.

Manny moves up a division (or two) after getting a belt.. he's criticized for not defending his belt and ducking.

Manny wins a belt and cleans out a division (ww) and he's criticized for cherry picking..

          Dude is the WIN.

Nah but seriously, I give Pac credit for most of those wins. Some of the timing wasnt really his fault.

But fighting Shane Mosley now is inexcusable.

Damn, just can't please some people. Within a year and 1/2 of May 2009 aka 3 fights, he had taken out 3 of the top 4 on that list, with the last straggler getting his in about 2 weeks. Pacquiao cleared out the division. People acting like there were better fighters/challengers at WW than those guys

Too bad a 140-lber with no heart dominated the glass-jawed cabbie killer Berto before Manny got to him and you can't use him as a crutch anymore... So who from May 2009 to now would have been more impressive at welter?

Zaveck? Senchenko? Throw some names out there... whose left?

Yeah because you can fight 4 guys all at once, 6 months between each of them is an amazing average

haters can hate but the facts speak for themselves

Its the timing at which he fought each guy that is the problem.

You know the divisions wank when you can be in the top 5 despite your last win being 2 and a bit years ago.
