Freaking DLH would say that Calderon would KO Pac. Just cause Pac made DLH quit on his stool, he is very bitter and will never let it go. I think Pac beats Ortiz and possibly stops him....it is so funny that people talk so bad about the little guy yet he demolishes people in the ring. He isn't my favorite boxer or anything but man, I like to watch him fight and if he were so easy to beat, then people would be beating him.

This is an excellent post and my thoughts exactly. You put any fighter from 130 to 154, regardless of age in front of Pac and he is gonna mow the down one way or another. You see these guys that beat 95% of the guys that they fight and when they do lose, it's in close fashion usually. When they fight Pac, they either quit, the fight is stopped, or they are beaten to a bloody mess by the final bell.

Pac was older than Hatton, Clottey, and Diaz- he crushed them all. I know they are not in their youngest days but that really isn't going to matter. Ortiz, Maidana, Khan, Bradley, Alexander, Berto, Peterson, whoever.....they are all gonna lose to Pac. I'd say Bradley gives him the toughest challenge but sadly, even he loses to the Pacmonster.

I think that there is a lot of ignorant nut-hugging going on.

It is absurd to hear some of you talking about Sergio Martinez as a potential future opponent for Pacquiao, it seems like you have managed to convince yourselves that Manny would actually take that fight

        Fkn absurd ****riders

Most of the following disadvantages apply to ALL of Pac's last 7 opponents.

        * Manny will not fight a skilled boxer
        * Manny will not fight a skilled counter-puncher
        * Manny will not fight anybody who is in their prime
        * Manny will not fight anybody who is on top of their game
        * Manny will not fight anybody who is coming off a win
        * Manny will not fight anybody without a distinct advantage

Martinez (and Ortiz) are the polar-opposite of Pac's last 7 opponents.

And wow, what a coincidence, if you look at recent events you can see the same pattern emerging.....

Berto, who was prime and undefeated, was short-listed, but not selected (surprise, surprise)..... and yet Ortiz, who blitzed him, will not even be considered WTF?

IMO, they will not even fight Marquez next because he is still too far removed from the list above. He is most likely still too dangerous, even with the ridiculous advantage gained by dragging him up to 147. They will wait until he is 40, or takes a loss, or shows more signs of fading..... like they did with Shane.

Look for Zab, or one of the lesser JWW's, I doubt that Bradley gets a look-in.

Pac is a carefully manufactured Top Rank creation.

He is the " ****e girls " of boxing.

Get real, he aint fighting Ortiz next.

Senile Arum said that Ortiz is barely Mexican cause he doesn't speak spanish(I don't know if does speak the language)but Ortiz sure as hell understands it, cause his corner was talking to him & giving him instructions in spanish threw out the whole fight..So if he understands it, he most likely speaks it..

& to compare Ortiz/Maidana's fight to De La Hoya/Trinidad is like comparing oranges to lemons, cause Ortiz did GIVE up against Maidana & even hinted to quit boxing after the fight(cause of the punishment he took in that fight)..While the reason De La Hoya didn't fight & just moved around the last 3 rounds against Trinidad was cause De La Hoya thought he was well ahead on the scorecards & didn't want to risk anything against a hard ****er like Trinidad..Not because he wanted to quit or anything, DLH was just trying to play it smart..

Bob Arum is a cancer to the sport. The good news is that he's 80 and hopefully he'll die soon.

If karma has its way, you'll die first.
