Funny how he likes to downplay **** like this (who is Arum to say how 'Mexican' Ortiz is??!? WTF?), yet we all know Arum would be suddenly praising Ortiz's marketablility if he were to jump ship to TR (like how his tune changed about JMM when he was considering leaving GBP).

And Oscar... I love the way he chose to be in the U.K. with Khan, instead of being there for Ortiz in the biggest and most important fight of his career. Something tells me Oscar didn't have much confidence in Ortiz pulling out a win over Berto, especially when he chose to be with Khan half way across the world - at what everyone, including himself, considered to be a tune-up/stay busy fight at best - instead of showing his support to his fighter he says he can relate to the struggles he was going through.

    They are both sickening.
It looks like Oscar was in the UK signing Amir Khan up to a long-term deal with GBP. Also, I can kinda understand him representing Khan in the UK, after all somebody had to be there, and Amir is one of GBP's top asset's right now.

Not the fight I saw pal.

I scored the first round 10-7 because I deducted a point from Manny for hitting Marquez while he was on the deck.

Manny knocked Marquez down 3 times in the first round, and broke his nose..... and yet STILL couldn't beat him.....

" we all know who won that fight "

In the second fight, the entire developed world saw Marquez beat Manny, just look at Manny's face before they announced the winner. He knew he lost that fight.

Even above Marquez' best weight, and past his prime, he beat Manny in the rematch..... we all saw it.

Ortiz should be next in line for Pacquiao or Mayweather.

The only way we'd see Manny in a good fight is if Bradley beats Khan this July. Don't want JMM or Judah...

Great point!!! You know, I don't get it sometimes with these guys. When Ortiz quit vs Maidana, Mexicans (from Mexico) wanted no part of him. When Ricans bring up Oscar losing to Tito cuz he got on his mongoose, they don't wanna hear it but as soon as one them do something good, u see (most of) them start to claim them as their own. Get outta here.

Mexicans can claim Ortiz now if they want, its fine with me. Just don't abandon him when he gets trashed by somebody like the way they did when he fought Maidana. As for the actuall fight, the version of Ortiz that showed up vs Berto would give Pacquiao a good fight. That would be a sluggfest. Make it happen. **** Marquez. I don't wanna see him fighting at 147.

These Island Frogs are still mad that Salido KO JuanMa their last hero, now they're envious of Victor Ortiz, Bob Arum is a selfish and jealous ***, Mexicans and Mexican-Americans have always backed up Ortiz, & Arum is more ******ed for saying Ortiz doesn't speak Spanish when in fact in BorciuaBoxing he gave a speech in great fluent Spanish. Also his trainer Danny Garcia talks to him in Spanish. Don't be jealous of Mexicans success.

Arum said the same thing bout Donaire that Filipino's & Fili-Americans loved him and he was the next Manny, but now that Donaire is signed with Golden Boy, Arum has stated that Donaire is not a high quality fighter and that the Filipino's in general don't follow Donaire. Racist ****, Get over it De La Hoya's the highest paid boxer & now he's taking over your spot in the Promoting business old man time for your ass to retire.

                      thread

this thread stinks with jealousy from idiot mayweather fans who keep on bringing baseless steroid accusations. the reason pacquiao is fighting the "old" fighters is because they are the top guys in the division, it's that simple. if ortiz had better credentials than cotto and margarito prior to his win against berto, don't you think pac would have picked him instead? one win doesn't make you the toughest. pacquiao became a champion in 8 weight divisions and you idiots still don't give him credit. i call that envy. go ahead losers, continue being jealous losers
