I still question his heart... I mean, as much as you can for a professional fighter.

Berto rocked him and dropped him, but it was quick knockdowns. I won't know if he's got it in him, till he takes the same kind of pummeling he took against maidana. That agressive, power, that just wears you down and you keep getting hit, and the guy seems to be getting stronger and gets up every time you knock him down.

well ain't that a poetic note. but still, the fact of the matter is, he quit and told everyone why he's not cut out for this sport. it was legitimate doubt and to some degree still is.

He made the mistake of voicing the same doubts every fighter has at one time or another to the media. That was his error. He may have felt confused at some point about his life, but who hasn't?

I don't equate that to lack of "heart." I equate it to him being a thinking, feeling person.
