It's almost unfair to include tyson. He created a menacing presence and aura that is still felt even long after his fall. Maybe the most intimidating HW ever, he was like death standing across the ring.

When are you Klitschko fans going to stop living in a fantasy world and accept that prime Vitali lost to old Lewis.

So what would you call them? Contenders? Good? Elite?

          So were Liston and Foreman.

I'd go with LL as he beat Tyson, Vitali and Holyfield. I don't know why you don't have Holyfield in your poll that was a bad omission.

Next I'd go with Holyfield as he beat Tyson, Big George, Bowe, got a draw with Lewis (probably should have been a close loss) and just generally faced the best opposition of any HW since in the period your talking about even though he lost some.

Probably Tyson after that even though the more time passes the more it becomes clear to me that going to the pokey pretty much destroyed his career. It's a shame his **** fell apart before he matured as a man and a fighter a little more.

Where's Bowe in your poll? He maybe the only guy since Holmes that could beat Lewis. It didn't happen and I'm not gonna get into whose fault that was, just suffice it to say that he ended up needing that fight more than Lennox. I think a prime Bowe would have had a very good chance of beating Vitali and Wlad as well.

Your poll is incomplete so the thread is not all the way legit, imo.

People seriously need to leave Vitali Klitschko out of this debate. He is not even greater than his Brother.

It's obviously out of Holyfield, Lewis and Tyson.

Any of these 3 choices would be fine.

                  Lewis
                  Evander (very close 2nd)
                  Tyson (distant 3rd, overrated)

You could have included Holyfield and Bowe btw.
