Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis-Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age"

In an interview right before the Vitali fight, Lewis said "I'm at the peak of my powers, I will keep fighting for many more years"

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

BUT during the fight you can tell that Lennox was not in his usual fighting shape.

Even Vitali said that he was trying to keep the tempo high since he knew that Lennox came into the fight out of shape......

All the HBO commentators said the same thing..... that Lennox came in out of shape.

Still the winner of the fight was Lewis. You can't change that fact no matter what you say! Vitali had his chance but unfortunately for him, he lost!
