That first dirty shot gets disallowed... none of the others follow. Very easy to open up a cut & surround it with others when it's along the eye. More punches statrted getting through that Vitali would've rolled with had it not been for the cut & blood obstructing some of his line of vision from that side.
Vitali Klitschko... 50-0 Sans Injuries?

Ask any dr. in the medical profession that cuts along the eye & above the eyelid can be classified as an eye injury. Go read the opthalmalogist's guide to eye health. Eye injuries happen all the time. No eye injury & shoulder injury to Vitali along with knee & back injuries that caused retirement for 4 years & this is is Vitali Klitschko's pofficial record>>> 52-0 48 KO'S... I'M ADDING THE 2 knockouts he lost on because of injuries suffered in the bouts to Byrd & Lewis & leaving the 3 fighters who came to survive on his list Briggs.. Hoffman & KJ.... & ADDING one more desperate soul survivor who's holding on to dear life just to make it to the final within the 8 bouts he did miss in those 4 years.... NO INJURIES..... THAT'S HIS RECORD.....!Comment

It's because that one punch which caused it..he had one arm tied to Lewis & it was a FREE shot on the part of Lewis who to get the punch off because of the angle that both were tied up... turned his glove in a 180 degree angle so it could land & immediately blood started pouring out.
To cause a cut like that Lennox had to have Vitali's hands tied & hitting from the blind side.. REAL PROUD OF A shot that should've been been disallowed in the first place.. Lennox is a dirty & cheap fighter who HAD to commit a foul to get back INTO the fight... if you don't believe this ..just watch his desperation in the first 10 seconds of the third,,,, he comes into that rd..suckers Vitali like he's walking nonchalantly towards him...
Vitali was thinking he had Lennox out on his feet in the previous rd & didn't expect him to come out & then throw a punch like that to begin the round which caused the tie up & the cut inducing blow on the inside. Vitali failed to protect himself at all times due to inexperience but learned from that fight... that his opponent can hit him when he's least suspecting it while there's a break in the action. I would NOT even want to begin to imagine if Vitali was given free reign to commit fouls on top of all his dominance...might as well NOT even go through with the bouts.Comment

If Sois LANDED MORE punches... i'll never POST here again.. That just shows me how ri****ulous your posting really is. Everyone knows Vitali is one of the ONLY fighters in boxing history to outLAND EVERY opponent he's ever faced... Solis 3 minutes was NO exception... kapish!Comment

LOL... your sorry ass is commenting on my thread so i must be doing something right. A TROLL doesn't take the time to explain his actions & supply you with numerous facts & data to support his position... U & that idiot bring NOTHING of consequence to the table & do nothing for my boxing IQ.Last edited by jimmy1569; 04-18-2011, 01:41 PM.Comment

That's right, in case you people didn't know, punching a Klitschko in the face and causing massive cuts on their face doesn't mean you won. You just got lucky that their face felt bad for your fist and split open to cry tears of blood.Comment

ALL PROUD OF A PUNCH THAT WAS CAUSED FROM CLOSE RANGE WHEN LEWIS TURNED OVER HIS GLOVE. THE ANGLE OF HOW THE GLOVE GRAZED HIS EYE CAUSED THE CUT... THE REFEREE SHOULD'VE BROKE THEM UP.. LEWIS HIT VITALI WHEN VITALI WASN'T EXPECTED TO EVEN GET HIT AS THE ACTION HAD COME TO A HALT....

Now you are complaining about the angle a fist hit Vitali's face? Go find me a fight that was halted based on the way a single punch landed. Its fcking ridiculous and would be the first such DQ in a championship fight.
The question you should be asking is why didnt Vitali finish Lewis BEFORE the cuts?
If you have a glass-chinned fighter like Lennox hurt in the 2nd round, you finish him off. But poor Vitali was warded off by a simple jab and LL was able to survive the round. Lennox won because he punched smarter, and harder. Vitali goes for mindless volume which will never work on an elite fighter(Byrd, Lewis).Comment

This mindless volume you speak of gets the job jone nearly 90% of the time. It's Lennox that went into survival & dirty mode that enabled him to be part of the 10% that survives without getting stopped.. I talk about the angle ONLY to point out how a cut like that could be conjured up by a punch. He had to turn his glove over for the punch to land from close quarters like that. It was a cheap shot when Vitali's back was practically turned.. Vitali did his job on Lennox internally.. something cosmetics could never show on top of the broken nose & swollen face he suffered.. If anything they should've went to Lennox' corner to stop the bout as Lennox was out of it himself.
