It was an illegit Tko because it was an illegit punch that caused the cut in the first place. Lewis didn't deserve to hold on to that title as there was a fighter who was even better than him that had dibs on it. Lennox knows what went on in that ring...that's why he'll NEVER show up in that ring again. I love how we glorify him as him going out on top. That's a mirage. A champion doesn't go out like that.. having his asssss handed to him at the same time he's awarded a W. & WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE if you want me to respond to you from this point on.. Keep it clean or get to steppin'... kapish!

I only read the first couple sentences of your piece of shit post.

No TKO is a victory by default. Unless getting injured. But, getting cut by punch is not an injury.

Even as a fan of VK, Lennox landed a punch and has a legit tko win over him even if he wasn't dominant in the fight, Byrd gets nothing from me, he just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Vitali could never be 50-0 as, if using this logic, his 'win' against Solis is tarnished.

Bringing up Marciano and injuries makes Vitali look worse! Rocky was in serious danger of being stopped on cuts to Ezzard Charles. But unlike Vitali he understood time was of the essense and finished his opponent.

******ed Vitali was trying to win on points with his face falling off. LOL

A cut such as that can be classified as an injury & dude this was a dirty punch & caused a dirty cut. You think Vitali gets a cut like that if Lennox is not in close while both fighters are tied up. Even Foreman commented afterwards when Lennox was holding Vitali & punching him 5 or 6 times in a row to his ribs unanswered. Manny told him to get rough (code word for dirty) & Lennox only way to survive was to fight dirty.. the referee if he was doing his job should've broke them up on the inside & that cut would NOT have occurred. Lennox would've been knocked out.. guaranteed if NOT for the premature stoppage & the cut not occurred.... it was a dirty Lennox that got away with the punch that caused the cut.. So when you tell me that a PUNCH caused a stoppage..you fail to mention how legit that punch was..so yes it's a victory by default because they have to follow rules & regulations of the boxing commision... that punch was as legal as an intentional headbutt..so PLEASE stop.

His win against Solis was immediately aFTER the punch & Solis was the one who didn't want to continue after it landed.. so please use better logic than that. Vitali wanted to continue & Vitali's punch was legal that caused all the injuries to happen. Lewis punch was holding & hitting when the action was supposed to be stopped.

I just read your first point of your piece of **** post.

No a cut, even a sever as that one, classifies as an injury.

Ok..you got me.. there.... It's vITALI'S fault that this was the one fight where he wasn't seeking the knockout... he did think the scorecards would be read but unfortunately his fights rarely make it to the scorecards.. me thinks Vitali used faulty logic & had Joe Calzaghe disease.
