Enough with this 'hype job' and 'exposed' BS

Im really just tired of it. Instead of giving credit to the winner, you make the loser out to be ****. Its just plain ******.

I actually gained respect for Berto last night, Ortiz looked so much better than in the past and Berto went on from getting decked twice in the first round to making it a war. I didnt think he had that in him. And Berto did not get 'exposed', hes as hes always been....a fighter without amazing fundamentals, but extremely explosive and powerful.

Fighters can change drastically from fight to fight, and talented, skilled guys beating other talented, skilled guys does not = exposed. Just because a guy lost doesnt change how good he is magically. stop ****ting on guys that just lost, theyre still damn good fighters, simply losing doesnt erase an accomplishments they had in the past.

give credit to the winner instead of discrediting the loser.

Whilst I agree it's annoying, people only complain when it's 'their' fighter who has been 'exposed'.

i agree man they need to stop with that **** already, berto gave us a good fight as well, he showed how he can take huge punches and still throw some back, i was surprised that they were throwing heavy punches throughout the fight even thought at some point they looked tired, mad respect to both fighters i bet the same people who said he was a hype job will see his next fight

        He hasn't been exposed.

He just wasn't very good at all to begin with.

Props to Ortiz though he put in a great performance.

          Logic of NSB.

It's always like that. The loser is an exposed hypejob with a glass-jaw.

Sometimes the situation does apply like with the Kirkland fight, he was overhyped and talked about being put in with the best and was exposed. I don't see how anyone could make an argument against that really but last night nothing like that happened, Berto lost and JuanMa lost.

Berto is super talented, but talent only takes you so far, I'm still a fan and always will be. Trainer did not go with he right game plan nor did they have a back up, Berto showed me more tonight then his last couple, he discredited any chin issues. Did anyone else see the string of drool coming from Ortiz when he took that monster shot, my god. But Berto couldn't finish and got careless. Its ignorant to call this kid a hype job and you take everything away from what Ortiz did

All discrediting the loser does is discredit the winner. When the best fight the best they're bound to lose. Ortiz is no bum. He's one of the top guys at 140 and a huge JWW. Salido is no bum either. Of course when the top 2 best fighters choose to not fight the best and win all the time, I can understand why these new fans keep saying that.

                Berto isn't a bum.
                Ortiz isn't a bum.
                Salido isn't a bum.
                JuanMa isn't a bum.

Overrated is one thing, but a bum is completely the other. I guarantee you, if Pacquiao lost to Mosley, all the *****s/casual fans will be saying Pacquiao is/always was a overhyped bum. Samething would happen if Floyd lost to say a guy like Martinez. *******s and casuals will say he's a overhyped bum. Which both statements aren't true at all.

Berto is the definition of a hypejob. And I don't say that to take credit from Ortiz, I say it to give him even more. Ortiz was the one to finally beat Berto's ass around the ring and show us how bad he is. Ortiz kicked the sh** out of the man and deserves the gratitude of every boxing fan for doing so.

I usually don't buy into the hype job crap, but Berto was the very definition of it. I couldn't be happier he finally lost and has to earn his place again.
