You can say that if you want but you can not call it a good victory then, you can't have it both ways.
That's ridiculous. Berto was being talked about as a viable opponent skillwise for Mayweather and Pacquiao, him not being as good as them doesn't mean he sucks it just means he isn't as good as the two best in the sport. How does that mean he sucks?

I actually gained respect for Berto last night, Ortiz looked so much better than in the past and Berto went on from getting decked twice in the first round to making it a war. I didnt think he had that in him. And Berto did not get 'exposed', hes as hes always been....a fighter without amazing fundamentals, but extremely explosive and powerful.

Fighters can change drastically from fight to fight, and talented, skilled guys beating other talented, skilled guys does not = exposed. Just because a guy lost doesnt change how good he is magically. stop ****ting on guys that just lost, theyre still damn good fighters, simply losing doesnt erase an accomplishments they had in the past.

give credit to the winner instead of discrediting the loser.
Exactly!!! People come on here and b1tch about boxers all the time!!!! And they call themselves 'real' fans!!!

That has to do with position in the sport not really skill~ he was never considered in those guys class truly and would have needed to beat one or continue on winning for a minute to get there.

Saying he is a hype job is essentially calling him not that good, try to justify it whatever way you desire but if you feel that way don't call it a good win.

Guess my definition of hypejob is different than yours. It's simply wrong to think a fighter can't be overhyped and be a good fighter. If they weren't good they wouldn't be hyped up in the first f***ing place.

He was merely a good fighter so calling him a hype job means he is less than that, you obviously never considered Berto better than good either.

If you feel that way fine say it but don't call it a good win.

Did anyone else see the string of drool coming from Ortiz when he took that monster shot, my god. But Berto couldn't finish and got careless. Its ignorant to call this kid a hype job and you take everything away from what Ortiz did
I cant green you as it seems every damn post I see from you is worthy of Green, and I cant hit you with it enough times. So please except this donation of points in the place of Green bruh.

Everyone is always held to the standard of Ali and Ray Robinson. And if u don't do anything to remotely be on that level, than u r punished by the fans for it. It seems like the weaker u r as a boxer, the less famous you should be. Though this is true, the reality is fame is not a measuring stick for talent.

And if u don't live up to the fame, u will be punished

People probably saying Juanma was exposed last night? I dont know, imo he wasnt exposed and is still a great fighter, just had an off night or something, I dont really know. Quick stoppage too, but that's a whole other discussion.

Kirkland aint a hypejob imo either, got 'exposed' a little, but that might be because of not having Anne in his corner, who knows. Just my opinion.

Seems like a loss is the end of the world for some people on here, when it really aint at all. ESPECIALLY for Berto last night, and juanma even.
Absolutely. Very quick IMHO. Yes he was about to have the breaks beat off him, but that stoppage was soooooooooooo premature.

at one time Ortiz was considered world class then Maidana happened. he started coming back then Peterson happened. the kid has world class skills and after beating Berto he should be considered world class, Berto needed to lose so he can learn not to base everything off power, bring it more then one game plan and for Christ sakes adapt in the ring, he should had started boxing and using his speed and go to the damn body. Berto is very good, but he was outclassed by a better boxer. so get over the hype job non sense. He was a world champion and this was his 6th defense. hype jobs don't have titles especially the big four
