Diaz is a beast. Hendo is one of the few that gave Silva a real fight. In MMa there are no Mayweather's or Donaire's because it is so unpredictable. One slip and there's no ref jumping to help. THIS IS WHY I say it shouldnt be a feud between the sports because they are nothing a like and neither can say our dudes are tougher.

i like MMA too, been watching for almost 10 years, but I'll put it to you this way.

Just tonight, Ortiz vs. Berto was a better fight than any MMA fight I've ever seen. And Ortiz vs. Berto probably doesn't crack the top 100 of the greatest boxing matches of all time. Boxing, at an elite level can't be topped IMO

Boxing is Classic sport, and to me it always gonna be #2 sport after football(soccer). MMA? not even close

whilst i disagree in my preferences, i think the striking in boxing is beautiful and mma punching in particular is so ugly. the difference between mma kickboxing and k1 kickboxing is less prounounced , but you certainly notice the boxing gulf. i think part of its talent pool, some of its style consideration and some of its just MT translating better and easier to all in fighting.
