Agree with everything ya said Romey...

I think Berto started believing some of his own hype (I'm not saying he doesn't have talent, but...) and thought he was gonna get Victor out of there early. When that didn't happen then he was going through the Collazo nightmare all over again. Goes to show ya that these fighters and their promoters aren't doing them any real favors by putting them in with so many light touches. It's happening more and more with these undefeated fighters fighting easy marks and when they step up they gettin all shocked by reality. I really thought Berto would say that he lost because "Victor fought dirty" but glad he didn't. I wouldn't be too surprised to read someone from his team say it in the days to come though. Berto said he just wasn't himself tonight but the truth is that it's because Victor was actually live competition for him for the first time tonight (or since Collazo, but he got lucky and won that one).

That being said..... BRING ON ORTIZ VS BAM BAM RIOS!!!!! I don't care at what weight

Side note: Berto's corner was chaos tonight... they weren't doing him any favors - with his trainer trying to talk to him and his brother yelling in his ear at the same time while the corner man was trying to work on him.... He really needs to sort that **** out in the future.

Everyone kept avoiding his chin issues for reasons I don't know. Berto never fought a guy who could truly hurt him. Urango is the only decent power puncher and he was too slow. He had been wobbled or dropped in at least 5 fights even with that.

Ortiz had the explosiveness. He's always been dangerous even in the Maidana and Peterson fights where he had a ton of kd's. I liked him the whole time. I guess it depends how high you were on Berto. I always took him to be protected.

I agree with this right here,Ortiz was live and ready(most in part because he has been in tough)Berto was shock that things that work on Hernandez(sicker lol)did not work on a live body..

Basically what it boils down to is Berto couldn't even beat a guy who got a draw against fucking Lamont Peterson (even though Ortiz probably should've won a close fight, but still) and he was HBO's golden child until tonight. Hype job to the core.

**** on rome .....and since you set it off in here....I've been holding this back since last night....yall ready?

SHANE WOULD'VE KNOCKED BERTO'S HEAD OFF!!!!
don't wanna see Shane mix it up no more after this Manny fight....but I wouldn't mind seeing him make Andrea his b!tch and then ride out with the last word in their war of words....oh yea

Non-sense when a black fighter loses he's a hypejob when a Mexican fighter loses he showed courage and is a great fighter....Victor Ortiz is the only guy who has been stopped in his career not Andre Berto I thought the fight was much closer then the regularly biased HBO anouncers made it out to be.

Credit to Ortiz though he surprised me tonight..

What's good Seks??I did not need to see this fight to know Mosley would have KO'd Berto(I know you did not need to either)Berto is nothing more then a Homeless mans Mosley anyway..Mosley is more skilled(even at this point)and if he was in there yesterday night(not taken away anything from Ortiz)would have KO'd Berto badly..
