You keeped a close eye on me prove it..Prove me having any bias towards black fighters..Matter fact most of my favorite fighters are black..You now what I do have a bias towards,go ahead take a wild guess..

Fighters not proving them self amd acting like big shots with out any risk in their careers..I'll be waiting on proof that I'm hate or have a dislike towards any African American or any other ethnic group...

He got touched.. A LOT against forbes and lost to collazo. Then wouldn't fight ANYONE while holding on to the strap.

THATS a hype job. He clearly showed he wasn't elite or anywhere near elite and he never stepped it up to try to be elite. That's a hype job.

He begged to fight jr welterweights forever, even got his wish once with Juan Urango (who he hugged all night). THATS a hype job.

Then he got his wish again and lost this time.

He also had a suspect chin, HBO kept HYPING him (thats a hypejob) despite him not doing anything, and he just seemed like another one of HBOs protected fighters. He was getting paid TONS of money to fight NO ONE. He doesn't have a big name and isn't and may never be a PPV fighter yet he makes that kind of money to fight no one. THATS a hype job. Hype job has nothing to do with his skill set but everything to do with HBO hyping him when he has done nothing.

      Hype job.

I agree with you 100% Vers. Ortiz fought the fight of his life, if he would've fought Maidana the same way, noone would even be talking about Maidana right now. Props to Ortiz for living up to his potential, and showing the heart and skills of a Champion. Green to follow bruh.

Absolutely Mark homie. Both of the fighters stock rose last night bruh. Berto just now has some questions to ask of himself, like any fighter who has taken his 1st L does.

The issue with Berto is the guy can't take a punch for ****. Berto also doesn't box, he just trys to land that one big punch. Fighting world class fighters like that aint gonna work. Put him in the ring with lower class fighters and sure line them up and he'll look good and knock them out. Berto needs a new camp, hes got speed power and heart with a ton of skills, someone just needs to work with him and bring all that out.

Berto is not a hype job. He was over marketed by HBO. Plus all Haymon fighter try to "play it safe" by taking soft opposition. Ortiz had something to prove, so he came in and showed us what he was made of.

I saw no improvements with Berto, he looked silly laying on the robe taunting Ortiz to come get him.

I think Berto started believing some of his own hype (I'm not saying he doesn't have talent, but...) and thought he was gonna get Victor out of there early. When that didn't happen then he was going through the Collazo nightmare all over again. Goes to show ya that these fighters and their promoters aren't doing them any real favors by putting them in with so many light touches. It's happening more and more with these undefeated fighters fighting easy marks and when they step up they gettin all shocked by reality. I really thought Berto would say that he lost because "Victor fought dirty" but glad he didn't. I wouldn't be too surprised to read someone from his team say it in the days to come though. Berto said he just wasn't himself tonight but the truth is that it's because Victor was actually live competition for him for the first time tonight (or since Collazo, but he got lucky and won that one).

That being said..... BRING ON ORTIZ VS BAM BAM RIOS!!!!! I don't care at what weight

Side note: Berto's corner was chaos tonight... they weren't doing him any favors - with his trainer trying to talk to him and his brother yelling in his ear at the same time while the corner man was trying to work on him.... He really needs to sort that **** out in the future.
Ortiz vs. BamBam, is too early Lori. Bam, needs a lil more time to fill out and become a WW, Vic is no more good at 140. 147 is where he belongs hand has been for atleast his last 3 fights, which is my belief as to why he looked so great last night. Sometimes fighters over stay a weight class. I believe that Vic over stayed his time at JWW.

Your side note my dear, is absolutely 100% spot on though. I was yellin at his brother to shut the hell up, his paw was doin some yellin too(You could hear him in the background). He defo has to clean up his corner, which he should see after he re-watches the fight.

Easy Rome my homie. He goes directly to a rematch with Ortiz, then keeps his comp level there or raises it.
