I mean at 135 it would mean more for Pac legacy than it will at 147.

As a Pac fan don't you want Pac to keep enhancing his legacy even more? So why not demand this fight at 135 instead of making excuses?
I don't think Pacquiao can do it anymore at 135lbs. He'll lose the needed strength and conditioning that he had when he fought Cotto, Clottey and Margarito. He won't be the same fighter if he fights at 135lbs. Remember, 3 of the last fights he had were all basically at 147lbs.

I prefer that they fight at 140lbs... But if he decides at 147lbs, then that would be unfortunate, because then he would be just like Floyd in his fight against Marquez.

So Marquez want the fight, Marquez has weighed more than 140.

        What's the problem. ??

It's not my problem you don't know about the business.
Oh I know and I understand about the business. But, I'm a Pac fan that wants to see Pac enhance his legacy even more.

Apparently you don't or maybe just not a Pac fan which is cool too.

What's the problem? The problem is that JMM will be the one daring to be great while Pac will be the one cherry picking. That's the problem. But, he will laugh all the way to the bank. I guess that makes it OK.

Sigh @ using the Floyd fans argument.

I don't Pac tried to put on weight for Marg and still came in at 144 after trying to put on weight. He might still be able to make 135 but if he can't that fine. Don't fight JMM fight others at 140 or 147 that are top opponents example Berto.

Like Heeb said, if JMM goes and beats Judah impressively at 140 then OK I guess 140 will be cool.

But, I don't see a real need to fight JMM now. Is not like Pac hadn't tried before to get JMM in the ring. People forget that the reason why they haven't fought 3 or 4 times already was because JMM didn't want to fight. He just wanted to sell wolf tickets about wanting to fight Pac in the media.

          • Manny: Yes Floyd, i'll take the tests.

*signs to fight some one else before his upcoming fight is even finished*

Yeah, that is the effort Top Rank is trying to put in to making Mayweather vs Pacquiao happen.

            • Marquez has no chance against Pac at 147. Bob will only allow 147. Pac destroys him now.

besides moving up yet again and tryin to fight Sergio at 154 or getting PBF out of retirement, what fight out there isn't a cherry pick for PAC?

what's the effing point in tryin to negotiate with someone who becomes mute whenever PAC is available?

the only time Floyd talks is AFTER PAC has already signed on to fight someone else

I'm not sure how much JMM really wants to fight Pac. There has been other opportunities for JMM to get in the ring with Pac and it was JMM the reason why those fights didn't happen.

But, for argument sake lets say JMM will fight Pac. JMM will not have a problem with making 147 at all. He will gladly fight there.

The problem though is that one fighter will be daring to be great(JMM) while the other will be cherry picking(not JMM)
yes. he's the challenger in this case. just like pac taking on martinez will be deemed as daring to be great except that the height difference is so huge whereas this jmm/pac has no height advantages. are you that daft to think that pac fans would object to pac taking on berto? that andre berto who can't even mention pac's name?
