Shaver's Punching Power Is Completely Overrated.

Unless you have a fighter who have fought Lewis, Klitchko and Shavers, you assertion can't be proved man.
Ali fought a lot of huge punchers in his career, and keep in mind Sonny Liston was also considered a beast. So, for Ali to lay that flattering title upon Shavers really says a lot about Shavers pop.

[QUOTE=LarryX2011;10371214]shavers is one of the hardest punches ever...
Shavers was a very strong puncher in a small frame and i think that Shannon Briggs knows that boxing is about hitting and not getting hit and after Vitali hit him so many times flush and broke his face,of couse Briggs is going to say Vitali's the hardest puncher!
When shannon fought foreman and lewis he was much more agile reflex wise and didn't absorb so many repeated hard shots.
Mike Tyson was only a small heavyweight and we all know how tyson ****s,so let earniies weight fool ya,he could **** too!Comment

First of all one punch knockout power is NOT the end all be all of how much power you have behind your punches... it's just an indicator of how accurate you are with your delivery. Guys like Foreman & most sluggers it's there second & third shots that is more powerful than the one that initially got your attention as Now you no longer have a moving target & what does one do with target practice? They teeoff with there best shots. This is where guys like Foreman. VKlitschko..even Evander Holyfield start to display the ferocity of there shots. One punch power is there but the accumulation sluggers are the ones that really **** you up as they're tagging you with 5 or 6 bombs & prolonging your pain as opposed to giving you ONLY one shot & letting you off easy. It's the multiple knockdown guys within the fight that are the hardest punchers as they get to tee off on you & show you it's not lady luck at work.Comment
