Those fights are only garbage because of how good Pacquiao is. If Berto was fighting Margarito and Mosley back to back, even now, those fights wouldn't be garbage. Pacquiao's career since 2009 is every bit as good as Martinez's, but we've had this argument before, so I'll stop.

It's because Martinez is a legitimate threat to their gods. I they don't like their gods to be threated. They love to point out how Martinez is calling out smaller fighters but why not. Think about it.

The two greatest money fights are sitting just 1 to 1 1/2 (if you want a catchweight) weight classes below him. He's 36 years old so he doesn't have much time left. Another thing is that if Martinez was some slow moving plodder who defended punches with his face then you'd best believe both Floyd and Pac would fight this guy at the drop of a hat. And their fans would want to see it too since they know their gods would win. But Martinez has actual skill so it won't happen.

They tell him to go up in weight to fight Bute but do they realize that Martinez is already a small middleweight. If he wasn't he'd have knocked Pavlik the **** out instead of marking up his face. And even if he did go up and beat Bute, Ward and all those guys it's not like any of these *******s or *****s would give him any more respect then they give him now. They would just tell him to go to cruiserweight or something.

Yes,please do.Pacman is that good, that's why 2 lb's for Cotto meant nothing & the 4 lb's to make 154 meant the world. That's also why out of the many credible fighters at 154,Manny fought the cheater at the bunch.Slow, face 1st previously destroyed, unranked(really) fellow stablemate................the list goes on.That's just how good he is,I know,ur right,I'll stop too.

Maybe because he had his belts stripped at 154 and was the MW champ?

Pac team abandoned his 154 belt when they realized he could get hurt badly, that's a problem.

FWIW I haven't seen people hating on him. It's more along the lines of people just calling him out on his ridiculous comments.

How are you gonna call Manny out for fighting no hopers and then try to fight Cotto. Even funnier is this guy was going after Manfredo Jr. And Andy Lee...lol

I personally respect his skills and would love to see him fight Manny.
