This post is ******.Everyone tuned in to watch a Gatti fight,a Corrales fight an Oscar fight.Fanbase has nothing to do with how good a fighter is.If Floyd & Manny are much better than him,then why in the world was Floyd fighting lightweights at welterweight & Manny abusing shot old fighters like Margarito & Mosley but won't fight Martinez,yeah that's what I thought.

So are you saying that Martinez's resume is up there with Floyd and Manny?
The reason they are not fighting Sergio is because they are not in the same division.
You can rant as much as you want about Floyd and Manny getting a belt at 154, but it doesn't change the fact that both don't belong there.

I'd rather he fought Sturm or Pirog at middleweight and unify, as unprofitable as those fights are. He's not going to get the money fights so he should unify 160. He can't make the same mistake Williams did for years where he chased money rather than unify his division and force big fights.

Boxing is how he makes a living, the only people truly upset with Martinez wanting to fight Pacquiao and Mayweather are people who don't want to see them lose. He wants to fight Manny @ 154 OR a catch-weight. He's said so himself. End of the day, they'd be meeting at a weight class in-between their optimum.
