this isnt just kirkland. if you look throughout the history of sports, the majority of drug cheats, head cases, athletes that throw away their talent to drugs, laziness, to getting in trouble with the law, its always black americans.

taking NOTHING away from ishida. absolutely NOTHING at all, BUT, do you guys think that kirkland just might have seen those 30-1 odds, and maybe placed a little anonymous bet on "ishida by first round KO"? i don't know, though. ishida looked fast and crisp and if you were going to throw a fight i damn sure wouldn't have wanted to take some of those shots . . .

all things considered, i don't think he threw the fight at all. ishida was just that underrated, and kirkland that overrated. . . maybe a move back to 154 for kirkland where he can be physically imposing. makes no sense seeing how much money he threw away in the long run by suffering such a devastating loss. . .

They explained what happened. Kirkland was gonna underestimate ishidas power and come straight in, ishida had been working on his straight right all camp. It connected and the rest was just beating on a guy that was already k.o'd on his feet

Since his first fight back, Kirkland looked like he physically aged 10 yrs after being in prison. He used to be really cut. What a shame! He might be done!
