Ishida fought smart and accurately while Kirkland looked lost. I'm sure if Cortez let Kirkland get back up, he would have gotten beat up some more. James had no answers for Ishida's speed or accurately.

I'm not sure what has happened but whatever it is, it's clear that Kirkland a) can't take a shot anymore and b)completely disrespected Ishida by having zero respect for his punching power.

And, while I think the stoppage was a little premature, there was absolutely no way Kirkland was making it out of the first anyways.

People who aregue about the stoppage aren't too bright. You dont need 6 knockdowns to stop a damn MISSMATCH!! Not only was Kirkland knocked down 3 times, he was wobbled 2 other times, all in 1 freaking round!! Kirkland had NO chance to win, he didn't have a chin, the other guy did.
