When did Cotto become some kind of standard in regard to boxing abilities? He is a good fighter and an alright boxer but he certainly is not great and certainly not on Floyd level when it comes to boxing class.

cotto is hell of a lot better boxer than margo but that did'nt stop margo for beating cotto...and honetsyly overall, cotto has better offense than floyd...a lil guy in chavez was effective of pressuring the **** out of floyd tilll he gassed, how much more of a bigger version of that whose forte is pressure fihting....

Yawn Margaritto doesn't have the speed or skills to pressure Floyd. His saving grace was that he had a iron chin but after Mosley and Pac destroyed that he will have no hope against Floyd. Marg is a face first fighter with zero finesse and mediocre speed. That type of fighter has a punchers chance and nothing more. Pac is the only guy with a great chance IMO.

But, this version of Marg wouldn't have lasted 3 rounds against that version of Marg that was the best WW.

Does that make him a better boxer than Floyd~

Floyd is a better fighter now/then at dealing with that and Floyd gave way worse than he got against Chavez. Cotto does not have a better more rounded offense than Floyd, he only has a bit more power~

Margarito stands little chance of landing any thing of note on Floyd while Floyd would land whenever he would throw. It would not be very pretty, Margarito just is not that good~

Physicality is one of the easiest things to take away for a world class boxer.

Margarito would have given floyd hell. and possibly beat him. Floyd would most likely break his brittle hand in this fight because he would have to keep hitting tony's concrete face.

Tony would walk thru anything floyd throws and could very well overwhelm floyd.
