the bold is how i see the whole fight.margarito is too slow to be competetive against floyd and floyd is too smart.if you watch the clottey and shane fight they both use similar stratagies ,they tried to keep the fight in the middle of the ring throw there punches then turn and or clinch in certain situations same thing when they ended up on the rope they immediate grabed margoFloyd hits hard enough.
He pot shots the crap out of him, By using the lead right hand(With the elbow at the end) or lead left hook.
Then he turns or clinches.
He counters a lot.
he occasionally takes a few shots.
Margo is a slow starter, Floyd wins the first 5 rounds easy.
It gets a little more competitive in the middle as they trade off rounds.
Margo might finish strong like in the Paul Williams fight.
Floyd dominates the last round.Comment

Floyd's jab to the solar plexus would have Tony folded in half like a cheap card table. Those were some monster shots margarito ate like nothing- half the power of anything floyd has ever landed.
And let's say for a second floyd has an incredible workrate, which he doesn't. He still wouldn't be able to hurt Margarito enough to slow him down.
Sure he's got his legs, but marg is a master at closing space, and even if he runs track for 6 rounds, marg is eventually gonna walk him down.
Or he'd be boo'd so much for running(because he'll have to run the entire 3 minutes of every round to be safe) that he'd be forced to fight, or everybody loses respect.
The punches Cotto landed were not "monster shots" and his power has always been overrated.
Shane walked thru Cotto's punches like rain...He couldn't walk thru Floyd's shots..
