don't think he'll do all of that by 28, don't think he'll retire at 28 either.

Depends what belts he has in mind. He's got a good chance against the Berto-Ortiz winner now, let alone once he's developed more.

154 is pushing it, but clearly he intends that in several years time.

If he plans to unify as well then that's going to be tough. But a belt is a very realistic target and I would be surprised if he doesn't do it.

Khan should just stay at 140 fight Bradley and defend his title. As there is nobody he can beat in the higher weight classes, it would be ****** of him to even attempt such feats.

He should fight Bradley, then maybe a rematch with Kotelnik, and follow it up against Alexander who will be coming off a loss to Matthysse.

        Sounds good to me.

The is a guy that at light weight was struggling against blown up super feather weights at brittish level..

If you think Khan could beat cotto your know nothing
Pirog and Martinez are 160 belt holders not 154....

Cotto was struggling against B level opponents himself at 140 getting wobbled and hurt just proof that cutting to much weight effects you, which is why Khans chin has looked better at 140.

Khans a big guy he can defiantly move up and get belts at 147 and 154 in the coming years lets not forget most of the guys being mentioned will be retired or firmly on the downward slide before Khan gets to them.

not farfetched....khan has the skills and the body type to go all the way up to 154.....he might not handle jmw power tho....

Khan has got very good boxing skill and a staordinary speed but he has not much power and also his chin has problem with small guys how can beat strong fighter in the other up weight division?!He should beat all guys in his division and after tries to moving up to the welter weight division but now it is not the right time.

No way! Beat Paul and Bradley, then move up. No point wasting time at 140, go for the belts at 147 and see if he can hang with those guys.

Like I said he might be able to win a **** belt at 147 but he will never be able to beat like one of the top 3 guys at welterweight, he just isn't that talented to do so.

and here we have another bitter american. i suppose devon alexander has the skill set? even though he was schooled by kotelnik and bradley? give me a break man, you need to actually get your ass to a gym and find out what this games all about, f@ckin loser

I'm not a huge fan of Khan and I do think a crude puncher like Maidana was a few punches/referee breaks from stopping Amir, but, give the kid a chance to unify 140 and move up to 147 before we dismiss his ambitions. He has the frame and skills to compete at the higher weights, I am curious how his punching power/chin will react with the big boys of 147/154 though. Yeah 154 seems far fetched at this point, but, who knows how the brit will carry the weight when he moves up. Good luck Amir because you will need it!
