Use to be a fan of Mayweather too. I am big fan of his boxing ability, but he is a coward. Mayweather doesn't get my respect anymore, I hope he picks up his first defeat sometime in the future, and i'll enjoy it.

I'm sure everyone here will cover the pros and cons of being a Floyd fan.

However, it is funny that Pac is already getting massive crap over an unsigned fight with JMM, but hardcore Floyd fanatics can somehow justify an unsigned fight with Spadafora.

DESPITE ALL OF THAT, everyone should be a fan of DAT ASS on your avy.

He's never had a fan friendly personality but when he left behind Pretty Boy and became Money Mayweather it all went bad...

I mean the come on, the twitter postings that he won 37k or something like that. What a freaking child. Anybody thats ever gambled before knows you gotta loose that 3 times before you win it... now if he won 1+ Mil then post it but 37k... Dude, you make that much a second WHEN you fight....

To me that says.. "Damn, I'm going broke and finally I won something!"

For all the Mayweather fans that think hes go so much money he can burn it, you're all fools... He spends more than he makes... If he was set up he'd never enter the ring again. That's why he does pathetic stuff like the WWE incident, dancing with the stars and now sinking a ton of money into a 50 cent movie that won't earn a fraction of what they put in it....

The sad thing about Floyd is hes more fooled by his own persona than his fans are.

I agree with everything except that last statement. I think he knows he's full of *****. Thats why he gotta put on a show for everyone.

Can't support a guy who isn't active, period.


But, being fair to the man; when he came back last time, he tuned up and then fought one of the guys they all said he feared (getting past some early adversity and delivering a clinical beatdown, no less).


And I'll expect him to do the same again when he next resumes his career. If he doesn't, then I'll complain.

I dont really see many good posters on this site supporting floyd too be fair,he is making a mockery of the sport and has become a complete joke and anybody with an ounch of sense can see this

Im not a fan, but i think he has earned the right to fight, or not to fight whenever he wants.
He worked his arse off to get where he is, and boxing is a very dangerous sport. I dont think he owes anyone anything.

Unfortunatly he has the personality of a slug, so he gets a lot of criticism. If he just stfu people wouldnt have such a problem with him.

People are taking too much to heart stuff that just won't be remembered in 10, 20 years. All the extra-curricular antics and whatnot, WWE, Josie Harris, facepokings, etc.

Floyd takes a relative hit if he never ends up in a ring with Pac or a Martinez, but it's still an exceptional career. He's done a lot, he's an ATG; it's up to him now whether he wants to add even greater lustre to his name.

Floyds career is over rated, and he is a prized idiot, but he will fight Pac eventually. He is using some no name southpaw in preparation for pac.
