I'll support Floyd as a fighter but outside the ring is not for me to speak of cause i dont know the man, yea he has done somethings a lot of us would disagree with but at the sametime you cant pass judgement on some1 based off of what the media shows us, because the media can make any1 look bad in the public's eye-view. Yes Floyd doesnt help himself out by trash talking but its all about promo n bizness when when the cameras come on Floyd.

the only people who support floyd are nothing but front runners. they're marginal boxing fans at best, casual it the most, and they only look at the celebrity part of his act. the boxing is just an excuse for them to act like it's ok for floyd to carry on at a monumental ignorant level.
real boxing fans acknowledge floyds talent, we all know he has the skills, and has the ability, but we also know he's a head case, and a cherry picker, and has avoided the top competition in and around his weight........EDIT: i'm not saying he hasn't fought anyone, just saying that he hasn't fought the top level to call himself the greatest ever.
real boxing fans know how to separate the two, the clown from the boxer, the only thing is, any person with common sense and decency, can not support the antics of floyd and compulsive poor judgement of his.

I am a fan of boxing before anything else, When I think of Floyd I don't think of what he does outside the ring or in his personal life.
He is bar none the most talented, crafty, gifted and skilled fighter of the last ten years.
How any boxing fan can not respect that is beyond me.
Fuck his personal life the sport isn't about that.Comment

Because he is the best fighter in the world and some people dont care about anything outside of the ring , in the ring he is the best we have , his private life should not be a concern to a boxing fan , he is first a human and humans have trouble spots in their life , he cannot box to his best ability until his private life in running smoothly , you people are like women watching soap operas on TV , you are way too concerned about hype and everything outside the ring .Comment

False!!!! Every1 will watch floyd regardless of wat he does. You have his actual fans that like floyd, and you have his haters that will watch to c and prey that he loses. So either way floyd will be supported h8 him, love him but ppl will support him. Im a boxing fan from the heat but i'm not gonna let what floyd does in his personal life effect how i perseve him in the ring. that's like ppl sayn Kobe is not that good cause he cheated on his wife or ****d a girl. Ppl will still tune in2 to c how Kobe plays and either root for him or hope he loses.Comment

how is he the best fighter in the world when he's avoided all the top fighters in his own division for the past half decade by making himself unavailable to fight, and then coming back to fight people in lower weight divisions in his division or a shot shane mosley?
How can you possible justify that he's the best? maybe 5 years ago he was the best, but you have absolutely zero argument for that now.Comment
