  • Pac has to kill Bradley and then he might crack my personal top 5 P4P. No way will he be number 1

    • pacroid lost it in 09 when floyd dominated jmm. this was confirmed to casuals in nov 11 when an older, bloated, lw jmm made pacroid his b!tch again for the third time.

      • Pac is no1 already. Floyd dont fight often enough to be no1. If he did, and took on all comers putting it on the line, which he dont do, he would give the opportunity for a complete underdog to upset him.

Which could happen if he fought. Haha floyd fans hijack every Pac thread, look at the first 10 posts on this thread.

He was bumped down after Pac/JMM III!

That's because DLH came in nearly 20lbs larger than Floyd and lost. The fight wasn't close unless you were a Pacfan watching.

In what world do you live in? Floyd had been fighting and defeating the #1 and #2's in every division he had been in. The only fight not made in his career was Tszyu, and that's because Tszyu wanted a 60/40 split. You weren't watching back then obviously.

BHOP was NEVER P4P#1. Where are you getting this from?

Roy Jones was P4P#1 the same year BHOP got beaten by Jermain Taylor. You really need to learn more about boxing before you further embarrass yourself.

Floyd was always the projected heir apparent to Roy Jones. You just don't know that because you weren't watching boxing back then.

Absolutely wrong. What do you think heir apparent means? Get a dictionary.

Floyd was the fastest rising star in boxing.

BHOP has been fighting in a dead division for over a decade .. defending one single, solitary vacant belt for half that decade. BHOP moved up only after being defeated and his claim to fame was having to WWs move up and beating them.

I'll give credit to BHOP for finally moving up after 18 years, but he wasn't fighting the #1 and #2's like Floyd was. BHOP gets credit for being a still dangerous veteran in the game, but there are other fights he could be in that would have shown his age. Specifically the Super Six .. which he stayed away from like the plague.

Keep in mind: even before fighting DLH, Floyd had come up through the ranks and divisions and was an undefeated champion having beaten the best. He didn't use catchweights. He didn't use vacant titles. He just kept winning ... against the #1, 2 & 3 in every division.

Only Roy Jones has done as much in the last 20 years.

          • a dominating win over bradley should do it.. it doesnt matter if its a early ko or a late ko, as long as its total domination. i dont like to predict early ko and such because when that doesnt happen then the haters view it as a lost..

Pac just has to beat Bradley to maintain his no1 position. Bradley would likely beat Floyd as well, Floyd only beats people who gas out.

In reality Pac was no1 when he was beating the morales and barreras of this world. Only politics was stopping Pac officialy being it.
But when Pac beat Hatton better than FLoyd, the excuses for FLoyd being no1 run out. Floyd wouldnt have beaten any version of hatton in 2 rounds. Thats another reason Floyd retired, to pretend Pac became no1 on default, when in reality FLoyd was found out.

This is being said due to the controversial nature of the third Marquez. Some believe that the Floyd - Pac fight is too big for either to lose on the cards. So in any close fight the edge is gonna go towards May or Pac ( May has not had this problem)

So no, no one thinks Floyd has to win by KO

Oh and the definition of a hater is to be jealous of ones success, most of us are not boxers so Pacs success has no adverse effect on us.

                Its called criticism

So Genero Hernandez is a stiff? smh that was 1998

in 2001 Hopkins beat Trinidad and Keith Holmes and Mayweather beat Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez, and Carlos Hernandez all in the same year. Mayweather was already 3 years in the p4p list and had a better year.

Never downplayed Hopkins wins or his win over Trinidad for that matter...I favored Hopkins over Trinidad back....Tito was in his third division fighting a bigger stronger better skilled guy everyone else was riding bandwagon. Good win but up til that point Hopkins competition was not all that. He raked up alot of defenses at that time but alot the fellow titlists he beat were just decent fighters or past it up til he beat Tito. I have to disagree with you on that win over Tito and how significant it is

Common Opponents dont mean much. They both won those fights, are two style different fighters, and fought them at different times. Mayweather happened to fight all of them after huge win not a beating.

                  • Dominate the fight. Win by a decision of 117-111 or more or stop him.

                    • Dana White "Pacquiao is going to out speed and out power him"

Always interesting to see someone like Dana White give his take on the fight. Though I do agree with his assessment that manny will outpower and outspeed him. Manny is going to have to hit Bradley with uppercuts on the inside exchanges. Bradley is a loopy puncher and if a cut doesnt stop the fight, those uppercuts will.
