I watched boxing growing up and always liked it for example I can remember the day my bro told me Tyson got beat but to me you can't really follow the sport until you get a bit older.

Arturo Gatti-Angel Manfready and Ike Ibaebuchi-Tua were the fights that made me really get into the sport hardcore. which was mid to late 90's

I agree, there's a big difference in when you started to watch boxing or really got into it. I've watched boxing since I can remember, but I first became a student when I started fighting myself (around 10 years ago).

I remember watching being huddled up at my uncles place with about 15 other kids watching old Ali fights, thats the furthest I can remember and one of my earliest memories, I was pretty much into boxing since I can remember, My dad was involved in training and my grandad was a pro. The first live fights I saw were probably Nelson in his old age, I vividly remember watching Floyds 130 reign, when I moved to the US.

I first saw Sugar Ray Leonard in 1989 beating the heck outta Donnie LaLonde, then followed him til he got beat by another personal fave Terry Norris. That was the start for me.

Started watching boxing with my dad when I was a kid in the early 70's.....but it wasn't till the 76 USA Olympic Boxing Team I became a lifetime boxing fan.
