Heavyweight Odlanier Solis has ripped into Vitali Klitschko. They fought to a lackluster first round ending two weeks ago in Cologne, Germany. Near the end of the first -Klitschko hit Solis with a right hand and the Cuban fighter went down - but during the fall he injured his right knee and couldn't continue. The fight was stopped and Klitschko declared the winner by technical knockout. Solis is now chasing a rematch with the WBC champion.

Wow. This is in contention for dumbest thing I've heard from a fighter. Solis tears up his knee because he's too fat to take a punch, and Vitali is the weakling who's easy to beat?

I guess he feels he can say these things because he won't be back in the ring for at least a year.

Yep. I think if/when Wlad wins his fight, and the brothers have all the belts, Vitali will call it a day. He may never even fight again. Maybe just one last fight in Germany to say thanks to the fans. Against TA maybe. A fight he knows he will win, and will also be fun for the fans.

Vitali said after the fight that no one could beat him this year or next, so I am holding out hope we get at least 3 more vitali fights. Id like to see him fight this summer, schedule something on the fly, then after Wlad wins fight TA, and then maybe finish with Valuev or an old legend or loudmouth. Maybe he could finish by murdering Evander Holyfield or James Toney or Roy Jones in the ring Rocky 4 style.

Well if he really means this its just the right thing to do he owes a lot of people a performance, i think he can beat vitali he jus gonna need to loose a more weight n maybe more stamina but he can pull it off

You forgot to add that he also needs to bring a baseball bat into the ring with him.
