Now we are hearing similar things with the Gamboa fight but in more friendly terms since they have the same promoter. It still boils down to 'there's not enough money', which really means the money does not outweigh the risk.

Juanma vs Gamboa is a good fight but Juanma will def win this one... it will be hard but he will win. Honestly, right now is not the right time and its not the right weight class for this fight to go down.. Juanma can easily fill a stadium up.. Gamboa is not in that level yet.. my opinion is, they should just keep fighting other people and keep moving up in weight class until they reach 147.. thats were the money is at. im sure Gamboa will be alot stroger and better there and Juanma Ofcourse.. lets just see if Gamboa can make it up there undeafeded
