Nonito donaire is still filipino,he was born and raised there for 10 years. So hes just a Filipino who immigrated to the U.S. , you can't really call him a fil-am,well technically he is since he is a citizen, but not in the sense as a Filipino who was born and raised in the U.S. alone.

Seems like Bob is trying to persuade the Filipino public to turn their back on Nonito.

And what happens if we wins? and actually extends Nonitos contract?Nonitos not going to be pleased with all this stuff uncle bob is saying. But him saying this must mean that hes going to golden boy.

Donaire was born in the Philippines with both Filipino parents whilst Lincecum was born in US with a Filipino mother. It's not true that Filipinos doesn't connect with Nonito, the truth is Donaire will be treated like Manny if he continue on winning and the latter retires. For now they've all the support of the nation

Looks like Arum is actually doing some pretty good promotion for Donaire. All Nonito has to do is keep his and his wife mouth shut and they should be good. They still may get all the promotion off of Pacquiao that they wanted anyway. Too bad that Arum couldn't do it the right way.

The blood that runs in Donaire's is Filipino.....

What runs out of him is American.......

                    he is Fil-Am.......in and out

He needs to look back where he came from.....show less what he has learned from being an american and more of what he is born as a Filipino... then he may have the same support given as Manny Pacquiao

Yes because the most famous bantamweights are more popular than welterweights. I'm a Donaire fan and have been for years but he will never be huge because of the weight classes he's limited to.
