although i reckon floyd would win as I've said before cotto's style gives him nightmares and like somebody above said I'd like to see the odds if this fight was to happen (which it wont due to Floyd's big wet vagina) if Floyd went in as overwhelming favourite which he probably would Cotto would definately be worth a punt.

I would favor Floyd but he doesnt bring the power or workrate that usually trouble Cotto so i dont think it would be one sided at all. Cotto on the other hand would easily be Mayweathers toughest ww opponent to date and would bring a very good jab and solid power and timing to the fight.

Serious question, because I really don't see anything.
One of the best jabs in the game. Mayweather wouldnt be able to apply the workrate or pure power to make Cotto fight a fight that is the blueprint to beat him. I still favor Floyd because i think his pinpoint punching would earn him a ud but it would not be easy.

I went with Competitive for a few rounds. I could see Cotto doing some ****ing on Floyd by working from behind his jab.

It would be an uncompetitive whitewash fight for Floyd.

Literally, this is how it will be:
People who hate or dislike Floyd will think Cotto is doing good against Floyd. During a fight between the two

People who love Floyd or hate Cotto will think Cotto is being completely outclassed in every way possible.

The objective people will see Cotto show flashes during round but ultimately lose every single round simply because Floyd literally outclassed him in every single way.

So in the end of it all. Cotto will look like a second rate, D-class fighter if he ever fought Floyd. I think we all see how Mosley looked, Cotto will be the same.

Remember how easily manny took away Cotto's jab with his left cross?

Floyd's right hand is ENGINEERED to take away jabs.

Remember how many right hands the wild puncher Mayorga was landing on Cotto?

Floyd's main punch IS the right hand whenever he goes on the offense, and he owns the best right in the sport.

Cotto's BEST PUNCH IS HIS JAB, but FLOYD HAS A BETTER JAB THAN COTTO.

Yes, considering Floyds long layoff. I'd give Cotto a very small chance to win tho.

Cotto is really good technically, but Mayweather is great technically.
                      Good assessment, I agree.
