someone correct me if i'm wrong, maybe i'm missing something here... But isn't sexy saying 'pacquiao fights no hopers, but since he's too small to fight me i'd take on the guy he moved up in weight to face and dominated\ko'ed to prove i take on better challenges and am the best'. This is what he's saying, no?

Martinez is a class act. He just wants to fight the best. That is something you don't see in boxers today.

Maravilla, Klitschkos, Donaire . . . If your the best in their division...they'll fight you.

Come on, lets go..... I wanna see it

If JMM has to go up TWO DIVISIONS to welter, then Manny " padded " Pacquiao can defend his title at 154.

Ooops, I forgot..... I mean his " old " title
Everyone wants to see Marquez walk into a clear mismatch at 147.

But oh no, we don't dare ask Manny to defend his title vs a genuine JMW.

              I don't get that fan-boy ****?

Manny is a beeyatch who only fights to his advantage. Marquez has to come up, Cotto had to come down, Margarito had to come down, Martinez has to come down, etc. If he can't fight @47 take your ass down to the proper weight cause you aint the best. BS weight games. What other great fighter continuously made these BS demands? The answer is NONE!!!!!!!!

And since when its actually good for a MW to call out a fighter who is currently fighting at his 7th weight class. Its not like Pacquaio could make 154 or even 150.

And the funny part is that martinez right after he fought paul williams said pacquaio was too small and a total mismatch because of size. he didnt take the pacquaio calling out seriously until dibella actually got in martinez head about the payday that comes with the fight.
what good does it do to call out a group of fighters who are on lockdown in a tournament that wont end until late 2012? Martinez is not dismissing anyone in or around his division, but he also knows the importance of the big names below him and what that could mean to his legacy. what do you really think that Pac is going to continue fighting guys at catchweights above 150, ofcourse not, but that doesnt mean he's going to fight any junior welters below 145. either way team Pac and Roach would still all agree Pac would beat everyone @ 140 right? whats wrong with stating the obvious and then moving on. right arm Martinez!

It is common for a world champion to jump a division to fight for a title.

So Dzinziruk didn't demand a catch-weight, good for him, most don't.
