maybe pac cause pac won the 154 title he had no business fighting for and never defended it. maybe thats the reason besides the huge pay day just saying

He fought the lineal champ at 160 - Pavlik, who has fought around 170 on a number of occasions - then he KTFO a 6'3" giraffe who insisted upon a catchweight. Give him a break, its just a stay-busy fight. At least he's not fighting Manfredo for a vacant SMW title at a catchweight of 161

Then why the 147 demand for Marquez I wonder ?
they havent finalized the weight for marquez brother lead....lets not assume please...lets cross the bridge when we get there...hehe

if its at 147..marquez can coe in at any weight that he wants anyway...if he wants to come in at his comfortable weight u know he is well entitled too...maximum is 147 there is no minimum anyway....

is Floyd too big for Pac? no then whats the problem?
So how come martinez can't call out Andre Ward, Froch, Bute then. They are one weight class above martinez.

And since when its actually good for a MW to call out a fighter who is currently fighting at his 7th weight class. Its not like Pacquaio could make 154 or even 150.

And the funny part is that martinez right after he fought paul williams said pacquaio was too small and a total mismatch because of size. he didnt take the pacquaio calling out seriously until dibella actually got in martinez head about the payday that comes with the fight.

Dzinruk wasnt going to give Martinez his biggest payday and exposure to the world, and he has the 160 lb belt that im sure Dzinruk wanted for himself, not the other way around. now once anyone above 160 can come close to generating the kind of money the top two welterweights have been then it would be different for Martinez he wouldnt have to chase Pac and Floyd. so for a shot at Manny im sure he would find a way to make 154, but we all know Pac would not fight that man not even at 150.

                Technically, you could be correct.....

But sorry, I refuse to refer to that 6'3" giraffe Williams, as " smaller ".

Floyd and Sergio are the same size?

How come a Pac-Sergio matchup was never mentioned until recently? Like when he was actually at 154?

Then, maybe Martinez is being over-hyped ?

Naaah, Freddie would have spotted it, and they would have signed him instead of Mosley
