But isn't sexy saying 'pacquiao fights no hopers, but since he's too small to fight me i'd take on the guy he moved up in weight to face and dominated\ko'ed to prove i take on better challenges and am the best'. No what he's really saying is Cotto has more heart than Manny and Arum is more willing to throw Cotto to the dogs than he is Manny. Let's be for real, Manny can fight whoever he wants he just plays ******.

I don't give a **** make this fight happen. Stop protecting Pacquiao and let him fight Martinez. I don't get the protectionism that Pacquiao gets from his fans. And no one was yelling he is too short to fight Margarito but he fought him anyways. So, stop making excuses and let the man fight Martinez.

Martinez is calling him out. And Sergio is a legit threat who isn't a slow boxer in the ring and actually knows how to throw good combinations. Do it for the sake of boxing.

He fought the lineal champ at 160 - Pavlik, who has fought around 170 on a number of occasions - then he KTFO a 6'3" giraffe who insisted upon a catchweight. Give him a break, its just a stay-busy fight. At least he's not fighting Manfredo for a vacant SMW title at a catchweight of 161

Paul Williams would beat everybody on Manny's list. I say that to say, it's not who these guys fought it's when they fought them. History will look at the dates and not just the names. Real talk is Martinez' last 3 opponents are far better than all of Manny's when he fought them aside from maybe Marquez. It's no coincidence that all Manny's opponents were coming off huge losses.

ok its simple
1. Manny fought Margo for a vacant 154lb title that was then given to Saul Alvarez.
2. besides Floyd, Berto, and the best at 140 who would move up to 147 , what other big names are out there for Manny
3. if its not such a stretch to consider Floyd vs Martinez then why is it so hard to imagine Pac vs Martinez.

this is a smart move for martinez before he starts considering anyone else. concentrate on Floyd, and when it comes time to fight go back to 160 and from there the sky's the limit if he wants to pursue the winner of Bute Kessler or anyone else who can give this guy what he's looking for. why would you not want to make a huge payday and have the sportsworld knowing who you are. right now i have a feeling many outside of Boxing don't know and appreciate Martinez like we do.
