I think Martinez is becoming more and more arrogant by the day. He knows there's no way Pacman is gonna fight him because of weight difference. Pacquiao got the WBC 154lb belt only to give it up a few after because of one obvious reason...154 ain't his weight class...and team Pacquiao made it very clear. I don't understand why Sergy talks **** about Pacquaio lately. Anyways, Lucian Bute is a kickass...a little heavier than Martinez...maybe Sergy should try the guy then we'll see. After Pacman achieved p4p no.1 status by demolishing bigger guys, right?

Hmm I'm wondering if this is some kind of reverse psychological barb to get a fight with Pac? I know he/DiBella mentioned that Pac is too small for him... but given he's only got a few fights left in him, and so does Pac... surely he'd want the biggest payday before hanging those gloves up and I don't blame him. He won't get that much in comparison with Cotto and Floyd is inactive so that only leaves a bout with the P4P king.

Speaking of king, does Serg still have his crown? Thought I read somewhere he gave it away.

Sergio sees that Manny will only fight guys coming off the biggest losses of their career. Many fans see it. Belts don't mean anything if you win them in fraudulent ways. His win over Margarito was a farce because Margarito was not a champion, nor should he have been there to compete for a title when he was banned for cheating.

If Floyd were to fight and beat Berto in June, Manny would be looking to fight Berto in December. Manny only fights guys who have just lost. Period.

I think Manny is exciting to watch. I think he is good for boxing. I think he has talent. But I also think he's a paper tiger. His wins at welterweight lack substance because he uses catchweights and he only chooses to fight boxers who have been exposed in the last big outing.

That's not greatness. That's not a champion.

So again, I thought LeadUppercut's post was spot on and brilliant.

no such things as facts in boxing. it's all subjective. it would only have semblance of fact if the fraudweather beat the big guys pac beat. there will be haters of course. the fact is manny beat them big guys who the fraudweather ducked. that's fact.

Stop chasing the small money makers and just fight. Both Pac and Floyd became #1 P4P without ever having beating a #1 P4P ranked fighter

The Pacman fight won't happen,nor will the Floyd,but Cotto has a monster heart & if it's demanded he'll fight.Martinez should capture a supermiddleweight title somewhere around 164 against the likes of Manfredo or maybe Bika though!!
