is when you bring up boxrec rankings

    Wrong,

If we don't know about a subject then lets not give our $0.02 on the matter.
No Jro, I know about his tune-up.

I also know that he has never fought above 154.

My two pennys are still valid. Dzinziruk was not "the best".

MP is considered a LW fighting at WW.

        And to answer your question...

        BECAUSE PACMAN CAN!

Do you really think Martinez or Marquez can just make demands against Pacman?? Hell no!

You know why? Because PACMAN is the MAN...and not those other two challengers

Well if you know about his tune PB, then you must know it wasn't a 2 year layoff.

Technically Dzinziruk has fought about 154, technically he has fought about 160. So to say "never" it's quite wrong. But, that's neither here nor there.

Dzinziruk was not "the best" at 160. No doubt about it, I will not argue that. But, he was/is arguably the best at 154. There is a case for him to being "the best" at 154.

Fact is a win over Dzinziruk at 160 is better than a win over Mosley right now at 147, better than a win over Margarito at 150, better than a win over JMM at 147. It just is...

So to try and downplay it is quite ridiculous. Especially considering in the manner that Martinez won. Because, really that really expected that he would of won in that fashion.

Just because, Dzinziruk doesn't have a popular name, and some probably never seen him, nor even know how to spell his name. Doesn't make him a bad fighter.

Not by me he's not, nor is MP considered a LW by his trainer and coach.

Fair enough. In that case, Manny can manipulate all of the advantages that he wants against his "lucky" opponents..... and I will simply consider him an over-rated hype-job with a manufactured resume'.

              Settled.

              • Pac-Man, Sugar Shane, Tito Trinidad, and Roy Jones all went up in weight all at least two divisions to find opponents and bigger challenges and this guy is looking two divisions down. BTW who hasn't Pac fought that he think has the chance to beat him??? Tim Bradley? Zab Judah? Marquez? Who is this phantom welterweight that Pacquiao is ducking... Who does Martinez think Pacquiao should be fighting that he hasn't fought???? Top 10 Welters for Ring Magazine 1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Floyd Mayweather 3. Andre Berto 4. Shane Mosley 5. Jan Zaveck 6.Joshua Clottey 7.Vyacheslav Senchenko 8. Rafal Jackiewicz 9. Timothy Bradley 10. Mike Jones. I rest my case....

Buy 10 computer's just like the rest of your MP Global hate buddies and start a forum tirade ala-mayweather's and your gonna be very popular very soon and sell a 2 dozen PPV buys that includes your co-members and your relatives?!... Wait... I forgot... your co-member's don't buy PPV's, they stole illegal stream in the internet just like Mayweather's fans are?! Your in "Deep **** Sergio", your going to retire 2-3 years from now and will not even make a tiny portion on what Pacquiao earns because like you said that your "Fighting the Real Competition" but the problem is... true boxing fans nows who is the "Real Thing" and who are the "Pretenders" like you or Mayweather. If you want to be Great Sergio just like Pacquiao is now... "Talk Less, Do Big and Fight Bigger and Better Competition!"

I'm sorry what weight-class did Martinez started in?

What weight-class is he fighting now?

                    How many divisions is that?

Do you know how to count?

                    • Well, Sergio is avoiding Margarito, who has a high hope of battering Martinez and absorbing his best punches.

We've heard Sergio's hardsell. It's like those snake oil sellers, some idiots will be hooked, some will laugh about it.

Is Sergio really dumb to utter such proclamations ? There may be a reason, and that is to entice the Pacman, even Floyd, smaller people than him where Martinez has a hope of beating.

Anyway, Sergio will get it soon, Pacman will be knocking on his door later for next victim duty, if the $ signs are aligned well in Martinez horoscope. Just wait and see ... Pacman already said Martinez is slow, and without real power. And he is already asking the weight they are going to fight at.

So Martinez can continue his hardsell, he better. He needs to be known, heck, if JMM can pull 4000 people, Martinez can't. He really should fight Margarito first, who can fill an arena. He can talk forever, but if the powers that be don't see any $ signs in his stars, then it will never happen. Megastars don't fight for peanuts, after their long high climb to the top. Even Tyson or Ali had to climb up ...
