@147 marquez isnt competitive against poochiao.

when mah nephew fought marquez he was so slow and his reflexes too. i was laughin at the fans then when they hail how mah nephew toyed marquez. their dumb to realized floyd fought a turtle-paced marquez.

IDK what Floyd weighed for sure against him, we don't need a scale if we have eyes to determine though that he was considerably bigger than JMM.
Im saying Pacquiao is larger naturally. therefor, the weight class IS an issue, and the higher the weight the more of a disadvantage for Marquez.

which is the whole point of the topic.

and lol at you saying that Pacquiao gets credit for the win when Mayweather doesnt, simply because Mayweather looked bigger. thats not how boxing works. Neither should get a lot of credit for beating Marquez at WW, because Marquez is not a WW in any shape or form.

Pac isn't really a WW either, doesn't matter that he is successful there boxing is determined by weight and both men weigh roughly the same amount by what measurements I have seen which is all we have to go on.

you don't get it dude, you just want pac to drain himself, and why would pac drain himself if both marquez and pac almost weight the same in fight night, while mayweather outweighed marquez in fight night.

How when they weigh almost exactly the same on fight night? Heck JMM is a 1/2 inch taller than Pacquiao even. The only real difference is that Pacquiao can hang with the big boys while JMM can't. Well I may be pushing it a bit since we really don't know if JMM can hang with the WWs since his only fight is with PBF. Regardless, the only issue regarding size that I see is that one can hang with the bigger guys while the other is a question mark.

its best for his legacy too. adding another lineal belt to his name.

you guys can sugar coat it all you want, but youre asking Marquez to jump two weights to fight Pacquiao at a weight where he has never even won a single round. I dont care what Pacquiao rehydrates to, hes obviously outgrown the lower classes and is more naturally suited for 140 and 147 than Marquez. Once upon a time Mayweather didnt gain any weight from weigh ins too(such as against Judah), but he was obviously naturally bigger than Marquez even then, and would have had to remove a body part to get to 135lbs.
Marquez can choose to stay at 135 lbs on the weigh in and 144 lbs on fight night. The difference would still be 2-4 lbs come fight night. if Marquez is really so skilled i think giving up 2-4 lbs come fight night is not too much to ask. but asking Pac to come down to 135 lbs would be too much. he is more comfortable around 145 lbs and asking him to lose those 10 lbs can weaken him.

I dont see any problem though. if Marquez is comfortable in a 135 lbs so be it. its not like Pac will rehydrate to 155 lbs on fight night to gain some weight advantage. they will be almost exactly the same size and if Marquez is really good he will give Pac a competitive fight because weight is not really an issue even if they fight in 147 lbs.
