If the constant intake of urine has not damaged Marquez's brain then he should just come in at 138-140 weigh in and 145 fight night. The mistake he made against mayweather was he put on muscle and slowed his ass down. He was always gonna be smaller than mayweather and he slowed himself down even more.

With the pacquiao fight he can come in at 135-140 weigh in and rehydrate to his usual 144-145 fight night weight and be at his best because Pac will only be 3-4 lbs heavier than him.

Its because somehow they believe Pacquiao will go an upwards of 160lbs. when they are basically the same size.

Its also to weaken pacquiao to make the fight even because JMM cant carry the weight above 140 when in reality they are practically the same size.

Overall JMM shouldnt be fighting pacquiao because pac campaigns at 147 and JMM at 135. He just wants money and we all know how this fight ends

why won't it be for a title?

if pac can fight for titles at a catchweight so can jmm.

if they do a catchweight , say 143 or something , let it be for the 147 belt.

gives jmm a chance for a 4th title.

I think it is an issue. Fighting at welterweight clearly suits Pacquiao.

But Pacquiao has no obligation to fight below 147 just to accomodate Marquez.

did we give Mayweather credit for beating Marquez at 147? I mean, I certainly didnt.

Marquez would be jumping two weight classes to fight at a weight where he is 0-1.
Marquez looked slow and out of shape at the weight.

neither of them supposedly weigh 147 naturally. so make it at 140. or else I wont give much credit to Pacquiao for the win.

The difference is Floyd is physically a real WW and Pac isn't, him and JMM are roughly the same size so no one is at an advantage or disadvantage really.

the difference between floyd and pacquaio.

Is that even at fight night pacquaio and marquez would end up being around 144-147 no matter if its at 147 or 140. Have you seen the marquez has been around at 144 at fight night for the past 2 years.

Floyd when he fought against marquez was rumored to be around the mid 150 to low 160.

I really wish a Marquez fan would answer this for me.

If Marquez beat Manny in the second fight, when Marquez weighed 141 and Manny weighed 145, why would 2lbs make much of a difference.

Manny will be 147-148 in the third fight so surely Marquez should have similar success since Manny hasn't improved much and has only looked good because he has faced weight drained, past their prime, tailor-made opponents.

Again if you feel Marquez won the second fight, In theory he should be Manny again because he isn't really much bigger than when they last fought.

Mayweather is significantly bigger than marquez. And marquez made the mistake of bulking up to 147 which slowed him down. I believe he has learned his lesson and will come in light because he knows Pac is going to be just a couple of lbs heavier than him. Either way pac will beat marquez up this time.
