I would say Boxing....mma does take alot out of you but, if you get tired in mma you can take a guy down for the rest of the round and just hold him there. In boxing if you get tired you're fkng done
More physically demading. MMA or Boxing?

Every 'legalize MMA' article has included the it's safer then boxing argument. Don't deny it.
Boxing inflicts more damage on the participant then MMA. Longer matches and rules which allow the fighters to continue under a concussed state.Comment

Not really. Most of it is caused by having a rule set which inherently weeds out all those who can't take any punch (unlike MMA) and then have the very best fight each other for double the length of an MMA match with knockdown rules.
MMA is more inclusive, but boxing requires a much higher physical toll.Comment

ESPN had the same thing and they had boxing as the most demanding sport in the world.
I've seen MMA guys winded after 20 seconds.....I could maul a guy for at least 2 straight minutes at near full intensity before I started to crash and I'm just an average Joe.Comment

As far as which is more dangerous....well, you tell me which fights consistently involve more blood spillage in the arena and which sport results in popped elbows and kicks to the face. Yeah, the safer sport has to be the one where the opponent can choke off the blood and air flow to the brain until you pass out right?Comment

But thats not the question of this thread! The TS isn't asking which sport causes more damage to a person when they are older! hell if thats the case Pro football is just a bad as boxing with all the football players turning into drooling vegtables when they get old.Comment

Yes elbows, knee strikes, submissions are much worse then people ***ing dying!!As far as which is more dangerous....well, you tell me which fights consistently involve more blood spillage in the arena and which sport results in popped elbows and kicks to the face. physically demanding present and future, including being concussed and stamina being at a higher level with boxers. Different sports but if you have to compare them...there you go. Being hurt in a fight is of greater physical demand then anything involving grappling because broken bones do not kill you and a head choke to the death would never be allowed. But thats not the question of this thread!
