Agree. Pacquiao said after fighting Margarito he will never fight above 147 again. And we know why. He started at 126 lbs, remember? While Martinez started his pro boxing career at MIDDLEWEIGHT. And right now when not fighting, he walks arlound at 160-168 lbs. That in reality is his natural weight!!! And he want Pacquiao?? Pick your own size man!! Your natural walking weight is 160-168..so fight BUTE!!! Or you scared? You want to be better than Pacquiao, so do what Pacquiao did...start going up in weight and fight bigger guys! Don't go down and fight smaller guys and then proclaim yourself P4P king and better than Pacquiao...that's bullcrap!

Wrong, he said that BEFORE fighting Margarito.

Manny never intended to fight a genuine JMW, he just wanted to cheat history and steal a JMW title by beating a mediocre welterweight bum.....

Told ya you were making stuff up, Martinez started at 147, welterweight.

Who cares? He is the same size as Margarito.

      Walk around weight means nothing.

Your division is determined at weigh-in, Pac was a JMW champ, he is supposed to be P4P, and Sergio will make 154. So, what the *** are we waiting for?

Wake up, Sergio is a large JMW who can still make 154, it is ridiculous to suggest that he fight Bute. Bute probably walks around at 180+.

Martinez clearly has no interest in 168, and he does not walk around claiming to be a SMW champ.

Pacquiao on the other hand DOES claim to be a JMW champ. So if he is a genuine JMW champ, and the P4P #1 fighter on the planet, why will he not fight a genuine JMW opponent?

      That's..... " bullcrap! "

whats up with all the hate for Cotto on this site? I dont get it.. He doesnt talk **** or belittle any of his opponents, and he has always fought every challenge that TOP RANK has presented him, as well as having only having 2 losses to 2 of the top guys in the sport . So whats the deal? And whats so bad about him wanting to at leaste face those 2 guys one more time to try and avenge those losses? Some people need to grow up and get a clue.

But that would kinda make the earlier 145 catch-weight demand look like a total b1tch-move on the part of Team Pacquiao. It would stick out like a sore thumb.

And, everyone would wonder why he needed a catch-weight for cheato when fighting for a title at JMW.

What's wrong with cashing in? These guys bust their ass throughout their lives to earn a living. And I'm sure Pac, as the new cashcow in boxing, will use this status to take away any advantages that may be too risky for Roach/Arum's taste to take and ensure a comfortable win. And don't forget Pac always gets the lion's share, and looking heroic in the eyes of the fans in the process! It's a win-win situation.

Cotto beats Margachitto this time. But for Pac his gonna need to fight at 110% and no catch weight, can't give Pac any advantages.
